I've had just about enough, driven to the point of being compelled to leave a negative comment about this HEB location. It's been many occasions when shopping at this store I've not found the items I am looking for, either one thing or another, not available. Or even more upsetting seeing that HEB has removed a top selling name brand product and replaced it with their generic HEB brand. That's totally tacky, greedy, and a third rate tactic. But yesterday was the "straw that broke the camel's back". While shopping for items I needed for the week, I was totally disappointed (but not surprised) to find that at least six of the items I was shopping for were either replaced with another smaller portioned more expensive organic brand, or finding no product at all available on the shelfs. Case in point: 1) The large package of Patty's Fresh basil had been replace with a smaller more expensive (per unit price) organic item. 2) Heinz [No Sugar Added] Ketchup was out of stock or completely removed from the shelf. 2) All the yellow onions had been sold out..no product! 3) All the arugula mixed greens packages, was sold out...no product! 4) All the large curd HEB Brand cottage cheese containers was sold out...not product! 5) All the Laura Scutters peanut butter was sold out...no product! Things haven't been this bad since COVID! That's a real shame HEB. But since they're really the only super chain store devoted solely to groceries in town (I don't consider Walmart a grocery store), they do pretty much whatever and however they want, they have a monopoly and know it. We really need some competition in this town, that, along with better store product...

This one is right by our house, and we go a few times a week. They always have fresh everything: fruits, veggies, deli meats, cheeses, and more.
We don't usually go on Sundays, but this past week, we found out that they also have a stand right near the entrance (by produce) where you can run in and pick up barbacoa. We got 2 lbs for about $20. It was delicious. A little bit greasy, but my wife and I threw it on the pan and made our own Pico de Gallo.
In the past year, this location has also added a refrigerated stand with those prepared meals. They have a lot of variety. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, chicken, beef, fish, vegan, you name it.
One thing that I've noticed is as of August 2021 the staff are no longer sanitizing the shopping carts for us. Wipes are available at the entrance though. Another thing about the cars, these last few weeks we've noticed the cars look a little more beat up for some reason. They also have a security wheel. I think this locks up if someone takes the cart too far, but I'm not a shopping cart expert.
Stop by HEB for all your groceries, snacks, and cookout...
Β Β Β Read moreWent here today to pick up groceries via curbside and I have never been so upset by H-E-Bβs customer service as I was today. The employee that loaded my car (Her name was Angie M. by the way) actually walked away from me while I was talking (and I was not being rude I wasnβt being mean or loud, I was talking to her because she was telling me something wasnβt going through that shouldβve been going through and that they needed to get me a manager to see if there was something wrong with their equipment), even my 10 year old couldnβt believe how rude she was. Then the employee proceeded to load my groceries and close the back end of my car then did not say goodbye, did not say thank you, have a good day, didnβt say hold on while I get you a manager, she just walked away and left and my issue was never resolved. This is not the first time that I have gone to H-E-B on McPherson and Delmar and have experienced terrible customer service. Usually when I go to that location theyβre rude and unfriendly and do as little as...
