Lin's Grand Buffet — Restaurant in Laredo

Was there last night. The food is decent. The waiter we had was awesome. He had drink redills for us before we ever asked. The problem started at the end of the meal when I asked if my receipt had been taken from my table. The waiter kindly advised me he had taken it to give it to the cashier but would get it back if I needed it. I said yes please. I need it to report expenses.He takes off and comes back to tell me that it had been thrown away but the cashier would look for it and bring it to me. Well the cashier did come and with a bad attitude. She was rude and had an attitude because she had to look for the darn receipt through the trash. I tried to explain to her that I needed the receipt to keep track of my expenses . Each time she came back with "I don't make the rules." Long story short, she was arrogant, rude and very immature. Heads up Lin's management! I wouldn't have this girl working in my barn much less in my restaurant dealing...

OMG what happened to this place. When it first opened it was awesome...better then Golden Corral. Now, its a shadow of it's former self. I know they changed owners but did they change EVERYONE? Most of the food was cold. Imagine seeing some buffalo wings dripping in sauce and then biting into it realizing it is cold like it stayed out for 2 hours and super dry. The cleanliness is ok. I got 2 plates that still had food caked on it but the tables were somewhat clean. The service needs fixing. We only saw our waiter ONCE after we sat at our table. Apparently you drinks are supposed to last for the entire time you are there. I didn't use the RR there but wife did. She said it looked like someone exploded in one of the stalls. The soups were the only thing I got seconds of. I do NOT recommend going here. You are better off going to Golden Corral or...

In my opinion, in general, the best buffet in the city of Laredo. Even if this buffer does not look the best from the outside: there is no fountain on the way, there is no beautiful sign, inside it is the cleanest buffet of all Lin's buffets. Very spacious hall, new seats and tables. Huge variety of food. The most important thing for me is that this buffet is not noisy. Yes, this is a public place.
