I would give this place 0 stars. This is the second time I’ve came to gateway. The first time I came here for mental health services and they didn’t have any payment plans for services. Even though I didn’t have an income I still had to pay office visits every single time. I don’t have insurance so i couldn’t afford to get blood tests and meds and everything they say I needed. The second time I came for prenatal services. I was scheduled to with a doctor and they assigned me to a dr I don’t know. The customer service is terrible they don’t know how to talk to people. The first time the registration lady was rude. The second time, the front receptionist was rude and told me to call 211 to change my provider and get a reference number since I’m assigned to another PCP and didn’t give me instructions. I said that I called other places but there’s no other doctors available to see me and I asked if anyone can see me and they said yes, but she had a bad attitude.when I called 211 they didn’t know what I was talking about. I had a panic attack and none of the staff was helpful. They left me in a room for 20 minutes until they called me back, but I just left because I felt uncomfortable here. I just wanted to get seen for my pregnancy in a nice friendly environment, but they weren’t welcoming. I would never...
Read moreMy husband Ricardo Sanchez has been going there for dental reasons but they’ve been working on his teeth for about 6-12 months already and I understand cause he’s getting all his teeth pulled out and it requires several appointments to do it but he never gets anything for pain or swelling throughout this whole process and when I Margarita Sanchez which I’m his wife called to ask them to give him something cause he was in a lot of pain and very swollen they told me that they couldn’t speak to anyone but the patient so when it was supposed to be his appointment 2 days later he was told that they couldn’t do anything that day cause he had an infection and had to be put on antibiotic before anything else that he should’ve called so if I called them and told them what was going on and that he’s a diabetic patient and he couldn’t speak they said that he could’ve called to at least change the appointment what part of the word he can’t speak don’t you understand and now they are telling him that he needs to take a more recent card cause the one that they have expired he has Medicare and Medicaid and as far as I know it doesn’t expire they got a copy when he started the first appointment how come they didn’t said anything about that than they have very incompetent people...
Read moreThis is the second time they tell me that my medication will be ready after 5:30, and I have to wait a whole hour or more for them to get it because they haven't even started the order. I understand they get slammed with other people's medications, but why even give a time when it's not even worked on? This second time today has really made me upset. I need insulin to literally live, it's not my fault I have type 1 diabetes, it just happens. My sister had the car so I asked her to pick up my fast acting insulin, my insurance covers it so it's free. On the other hand, the long acting one costs me $25! I have no problem with copay obviously. What I'm getting at is that I don't get paid until tomorrow, so the plan was to get the fast acting one that I NEED, and the long acting tomorrow. They made my sister wait for 2 hours while they got it ready, and when my sister got home and gave me the bag, it had the long acting one. They gave her the WRONG medication. I do not want to go tomorrow and pay that, I will be coming in to clarify their mistake. What upsets me is HOW do they confuse the medication?? I'm currently contemplating going to the ER because I've been without insulin for a day...
