Atmosphere:
The setting for this dining experience is cozy and inviting, characterized by warm orange walls and softly glowing string lights that create a relaxed and intimate ambiance. A large screen projector adds a touch of entertainment, making it an ideal spot for casual gatherings or a laid-back meal while enjoying music on screen. The rustic wooden chairs and tables contribute to the homey, comfortable feel, ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Food:
The meal consisted of five tacos, with a mix of two tripitas tacos and three carne asada tacos. The presentation was appealing, with the tacos served on a white foam plate alongside a grilled onion and a fresh garnish of chopped onions and cilantro.
Tripitas Tacos:
The tripitas were crispy and well-seasoned, offering a delightful crunch with each bite. The flavor was rich and savory, complemented perfectly by the freshness of the onions and cilantro. The tripitas had a perfect balance of crispiness on the outside and tenderness on the inside, making them a standout option.
Carne Asada Tacos:
The carne asada tacos were equally impressive, featuring tender, juicy pieces of grilled beef. The meat was well-marinated, exuding a smoky, char-grilled flavor that was both hearty and satisfying. The addition of fresh lime wedges allowed for a burst of tanginess that enhanced the overall taste experience.
Review:
The overall dining experience was enjoyable and satisfying. The combination of the cozy atmosphere and delicious tacos made for a memorable meal. The tripitas provided a unique texture and flavor that was both crunchy and tender, while the carne asada offered a classic, savory option that did not disappoint. The grilled onion was a nice touch, adding a slight sweetness and depth to the meal.
The attention to detail in both the preparation and presentation of the tacos was evident, making this a place worth revisiting for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Mexican...
Read moreWould give it no stars. Sat in the restaurant, but kitchen is the food truck out in the parking lot, so sat in a restaurant with bugs crawling under the hats in the wall and what looked like bread wrapped up all over a log bar and ate from a food truck. Super quesadilla the size of a medium pizza, hardly any meat and melted yellow cheese. "Alambres" are not skewers, they are minced brisket and sausage topped with same yellow cheese in a tortilla saturated with grease it fell apart upon picking it up. "Fajita" is chopped up so fine they try to hide all the nerves, but still extremely chewy. The green and red salsa were nice and spicy, the "quemada" was exactly that...burnt, tasted like tar. Service was slow, but understandable as it is everywhere. Asked for the bill and read out the the amount, never provided an itemized bill. I did the math off the menu online and they over charged me $15.00. I can see why this place is empty. We have soooo Mexican food choices. ...

The steaks were dry, the “soups” were gross, and nothing in their buffet was good. My fiancé ordered a taco de pastor and it was not even pastor. Only God knows what it was. I do not recommend this place to anyone. This is so sad being that it’s in Laredo. This place should be ashamed of still being open for business. This is the absolute most disgusting place in Laredo, TX. Stay away and save your health. We all got sick after this disgusting experience. The ladies working their have a bad attitude.
The worst part is that management responds to only the positive reviews. This proves the poor...
