Sonic Disaster – Drive-In to Drive-Out
I recently had the displeasure of visiting a Sonic Drive-In location, and it was a drive-in to drive-out experience that left me shaking my head in disappointment. Upon arriving, I noticed that the parking lot was littered with trash and unkempt landscaping, setting the stage for the unfortunate experience that awaited me.
When I pressed the button to place my order, I was met with a garbled, barely audible voice on the other end that made it nearly impossible to communicate what I wanted. After multiple attempts to convey my order, I finally gave up and hoped for the best.
My optimism was short-lived, however, as the food that was delivered to my car was a cold, soggy mess. The burger was tasteless, with a stale bun and unidentifiable condiments. The fries were limp, cold, and had an unappetizing taste that made me question their freshness. To make matters worse, the drink I ordered was flat, with a strange aftertaste that lingered long after I left the establishment.
The staff appeared disinterested in providing any semblance of customer service, and their lack of urgency in resolving issues was frustrating. When I attempted to voice my concerns to the manager, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude that left me feeling completely unvalued as a customer.
In conclusion, my experience at Sonic Drive-In was a complete disappointment. The poor quality of food, lack of cleanliness, and abysmal customer service make this a location that I will not be returning to or recommending to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and drive on by this...
Read moreI'm updating my review from a 5 star to a 1 star. They took more than 45 minutes to bring my food and some employees who prepare food don't wear mask. I ordered a simple burger and drink, it wasn't a big order and the place was not full. Several cars came after me received their order and left. Right when I am going in to get my order myself, they bring my order out. Food was cold. As I walked inside I saw several employees without mask and some of them preparing food. I told them I had been waiting for more than 45 min while people came after me, ordered and left. They all just stared with a blank face and no one said anything, not even an apology. I called and placed a complaint to corporate and I just got a mediocre copy paste email from the manager of that location saying they take hygiene seriously. I will never visit this Sonics location again, first because of their lack of hygiene during this Covid situation and second for their incompetent employees.
Update: Regarding the owners response to this review here in maps. I will not waste any more time trying to contact the owner directly just to say the same as in this review. It was a bad experience and I rather just not go anymore. I placed a corporate complaint and it should be enough to hold this drive in accountable. Read more8/1/21 First of all they took 10 minutes to take my order had to press the button like 3 times. Secondly when I ordered I specifically asked for a #1 NO CHEESE (three times I asked ) after I placed my order they took like 20-25 minutes for my order while other customers who came after me got their order right away. After I get home and bring it to one of my family members she has one bite and left the sandwich because it had cheese when I specifically said NO CHEESE! I wanted to complain but it says the phone line is disconnected for the store ! I am very upset because every time I go there they always mess up I will go Tomorrow personally and ask for my money back because it is really sad that I was there for a long time and spending my hard earning money just to come home to something ...
