Sushi Madre — Restaurant in Laredo

I ordered delivery, and my general experience is good. The employees, although not too enthusiastic, I can understand as someone who works retail. Dealing with people is annoying and hard. They were courteous with me, although not very warm. But that's not where this establishment excells. When the food arrived and I had my chance to enjoy it, I was more than pleased. I've never been a big fan of sushi, but the Luna Tempura roll and fried calamari I ordered were excellent. The roll was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing, and the sauce garnishing the top was flavorful, strong, but displaced liberally in a way that it melted within each bite. Prices will always be high with sushi places, because sushi is a more expensive dish to prepare and serve, but the Tex Mex style dishes that sushi Madre serves are well within the price range of the average worker wanting to spend as much on a well earned lunch or dinner alone or...

Never Eating At This Restaurant. Super Bad Service looks like the waiters don't like to attend clients, they don't know much about the menus, if you ask what they recommend they have no idea , they expect you to know what are the drinks , sushi is ok, but the rice is not even fried rice, their is no other substitution for the rice , the prices are so high for the bad service i got , waiters are pushing to order fast, all with long faces, this place is more a To-Go kind of restaurant. I can't believe I spend $75 dll.on a meal for two adults and a child and that is including the tip. I could have ate better at another restaurant. Horrible experience we order food almost every day but today to-go order was done completely incorrect, we understand that mistakes do happen but the way it was handled was completely unacceptable, we called back to let them now about the mistake and the person that answered said that we needed to pay again, the we spoke to "the Manager" Karen who not only didn't wanted to give her name but was no help at all, it was clear why the employees are rude it starts with management the so called manager was arguing on the phone the entire time, saying " te estoy diciendo que ustedes pusieron la orden mal" in a very rude way Spanish speaking only and no solution to our problem.
