Taquitos Ravi Restaurant Shiloh — Restaurant in Laredo

Don’t come here. This place is a total rip off! You are better off going to the Market location.

Our family always goes to the Market location and order the parrillada for 4 people. For our family of 7 is is more than enough food. It comes with 2 choices of meat, 4 pieces of sausage and 4 beef ribs. This Shiloh location charges you the SAME amount for the parrillada, but NO ribs and the parrillada is visibly smaller. When I asked the waitress about it she said they don’t serve ribs at this location. And when I asked why the price was the same as the Market location her answer was “I don’t know”. Also, the salsa was given in little plastic to go cups. Normally that is fine, except she brought 4 small cups for a party of 10 (3 kids and 7 adults). We had to keep asking her to bring more. Every time we needed something we had to flag her down so she could help us.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I’m actually quite upset that I was charged THE SAME amount for a parrillada that was not nearly as good and...

I am from Chicago and I flew in to Laredo to visit my boyfriend who is out of tow for work.. As I was looking for places to eat and things to do I came across Taquitos Ravi Restaurant. If your looking for a small neighborhood type place to grab a quick bite to eat this is the place for you.The food was AMAZING!! I had tacos and my boyfriend had the melanesa torta both dishes were very very good!! Him, I and our son had nachos for an appetizer they were hands down the best nachos we ever had.. If you order a taco with your favorite filling of fajita beef or chicken, etc. Expect what is known in these parts as a tortilla taquera sized taco. Roughly, the small 3.5 to 4 inch tortilla size. Definitely not the regular size.

So if you're hungry you might need 6 or 10 of these to make a dent to satisfy your hunger. The combo plates look small also. Flavor-wise, I'd look elsewhere, if you demand quality for your hard earned money.

Obviously, the more you buy, the more you pay.
