Great food and clean establishment until an unfriendly encounter with "Orlinda"
I love this Whataburger location because it’s so close to home and the food is great. But on February 6th, 2025, around 3:00 PM, I had a bit of a frustrating experience. As I approached the drive-thru to inquire about getting a free Monterey Melt with a purchase of fries and a drink. The lady took a deep breath and said, "You have to order it through the app," I was confused, so then I asked if it needed to be an online order, and she gasps again and replied, "just show me the barcode." Her responses were blatantly hesitant as this was confusing for me since I'm not familiar with ordering online or using apps.
I also asked if the onions could be removed, but she told me the burger already comes that way. When I reached the window to get some help, I was left hanging with my phone out, while she took another customer's order.

It was a slow night. I told her two more times and finally she still messed it up again I told her that it was wrong and she made faces at me. She for got to give me my credit card. And I was late for work but realized that I didn't have it so I called the store and they told me they had it so I had to go back again and wait for them to attend me and I told the manger that my food was cold that I didn't wanted it any more . she was give me the food so I can refund your money. I ask for there district manager and she didn't want to provide me with the telphone number. This people think that they are doing us a favor buy attending us. Read moreHonestly, the food is always good. However, that doesn't mean the order is right. They sometimes forget or give me a completely different order. I don't know if it's because a good number of their young employees always seem down and give the vibe that they don't want to be there. They are not rude, but you can tell they don't want to be at work. Either way, the food is good, 98% of the time fresh. I would assume it would be most of the time considering the long wait through the drive thru (busy hours).
