Wendy's — Restaurant in Laredo

TERRIBLE & SAD I'm writing this review for my elderly parents after finding out how poorly treated they were just trying to get themselves dinner. My father ordered through the app their dinner. My mother wanted some extra lettuce for her burger due to her specific diet. The order was "ready" and my father drove, parked then walked inside. They told him it would be right out to him and to park in the spot outside. He waited 20 mins and nothing. So he went inside and the girl was just standing there staring into space or something. He saw a bag of food just sitting under the heat lamp and he asked her if that was order. She went to grab it, handed it to him and just walked away. Doesn't end there. He gets home and they unwrap my mother's burger and there isn't any extra lettuce as requested. She was really looking forward to it as she is on a special diet due to her health. The worst part about hearing this is that my father waited such a long time and no one took his food out. They are elderly and seems like no one cared about their order. Came here with my family before our trip out of town. Immediately upon walking in the place smelled like an old stinky wet kitchen towel. The floors were sticky as you walked and you guessed it, so we're the tables. My husband and I did not order any food here as the place looked unsanitary. I was even hesitant to use the restroom, but went anyway because when nature calls... The restroom was a nightmare! Dim-litted and smelled like old french fries and sewage. I was afraid to touch anything around me. I did my business, washed my hands and bolted out of there as fast as I could. If this was the front of the house, I can imagine what the kitchen...

Arrived to this Wendy’s at 5:20. There was two people in front of me. I waited for 15 minutes and decided to leave because I still couldn’t order. The cashier was walking around making the meals and drinks for the people who had already ordered. There was other people in there preparing the food and plating everything. I don’t understand why he was doing other stuff instead of taking the orders. He then asked for his register to be fulfilled.
