Whataburger — Restaurant in Laredo

I personally like this location better than the other ones. The atmosphere is good. You can take your family there and enjoy a quick bite and converse a bit. The bathrooms are usually clean. You will occasionally get some millennials going and assume everyone in the restaurant wants to hear their conversations and speak loudly and curse once in a while. You can't blame the location for that one. More importantly, the food was excellent. It was prepared exactly how we would ask; extra pickles, no onions, etc. The manager was super awesome, they had run out of country gravy, so they started making a fresh batch. While we waited for the new batch, they brought us a free order of chicken tenders and fries on the house. I told them that we didn't mind the wait, but they insisted on giving us the stuff. Most managers here in Laredo tell you to go pound sand, but not these managers. I definitely go here whenever my family wants burgers. The food it's excellent and the staff not so much,the thing is that they are trying to implement a new way to direct traffic in the drive thru and now they have two lanes according to them it's to expedite the waiting time, but it's totally wrong the time I went thru there since my order was a big order according to them (4 combos) I was asked to move to the second lane when I was in the 1st lane, and I waited almost 20mins when the line in the 1st lane was moving super fast. Second review: 10/9/23 Cashiers had an attitude with me and kept saying “anything else anything else?” For each combo I ordered, seemed to be bothered to take my order and didn’t give me my receipt. Another cashier was disrespectful because I asked for extra ketchup and gave me a ripped cup holder so thanks to that I spilled my drinks. Going to another location next time
