Let me first say that upon entering this store, I loved all of the furniture that was on display and how it was finished. Going through the back I saw an unfinished piece I liked and the owner said she would finish it “that way” pointing to a dresser close by. We discussed color and knobs and I mentioned that it would fit perfectly in my bedroom. I paid for the piece and she gave me a date to pick up. I got a text saying that it was going to be a delay. I finally got to get it and when I got home it was a solid color, no distressing, no shells on the knobs ( she said later they couldn’t be changed out) the drawers were stuck shut, the underside of the knobs we’re not painted well, drip marks on some sides… I texted her and she said bring it back. I picked it up today she was so rude. Helped me load it into my car, said it is what it is. No thank you, nothing. My friends and I had visited that store and spent quite a bit of money previously but I will never step foot in there again and shall share with my friends to do the same. On another note, discovered something I purchased for 29.00 was at Bealls store (not...
Read moreI purchased a beautiful drop leaf table and when I got it home I noticed several bubbles in the paint. I text Shirley the owner and let her know I was concerned the bubbles would eventually cause the paint to peel. She replied and we decided that I would bring it in today. I took it in and it was taken out of my car and sit on the porch. Shirley came out with a sander, said to me that no one has ever returned anything because of bubbles and she started sanding the table. She was in a real nasty mood. After sanding for just a few minutes, she said take it the table is yours and walked back into the shop. The table looks terrible and I’m going to have to pay additional money to have it fixed. The table was not cheap and for her to treat a customer the way she treated me is unacceptable. I have before and after pictures which I really wish I could post as it shameful what she did...
Read moreI love this store because of its authenticity. I picked up a vintage lamp, framed print and roll pillow. Each piece is so unique and “old Florida” no one else will have them. The store carries a great selection of different Florida styles in furniture, wall art, table art to sea shells. The owner does a lot of the repurposing herself and will help you create a great space in your own home. A must stop by. Even if you dont find that treasure the first time, you will be inspired. Just a separate note, its best to park in the Mexican restaurants parking lot and walk over. Much easier getting in and out. The restaurant has given...
