So I have been going here for years and things have been great up until December 2018 to now June 2019. I'm not sure if management changed or what but lately I have been dissatisfied with the service. Food is great but this establishment needs to go back to the way it used to operate. Back in December they got my order wrong and that was a first I took my order home and realized that it was incorrect so I called and the manager at the time was aware of the issue so he told me to come back at my convenience and sure enough I did and he rectified the issue(Great). So after that I was good until this past weekend where I express ordered my meals through the employee before getting to the actual menu/speaker . When I got up to the menu I noticed that they had a new featured drink for this month (Strawberry-Passion lemon tea) so I decided that I wanted to change my drink so when I got around to pay the employee who collects the money before the window I asked could I change my drink order to that and he politely said that I will have to ask the manager when I get to the window so I did and the manager was very passive and he did not seem very friendly or understanding. He told me that I could not switch my drink... I understood that they were busy so I asked could I buy the drink separate since it cannot be exchanged and he declined and said "No either you can go inside to order that or go back around the drive thru" at that point I was over it... there has never been a time I could not change something or add/modify my order at any establishment period! If I am offering money to purchase something else you could have easily taken the money my request and told me to patiently wait in the chick-fil-a ordering parking spot until someone was able to bring it out... what happened to that??? So after this incident... I returned to purchase breakfast a few days ago and everything was good until I got up to the window. The young lady asked for my payment and the moment I handed her my card she brings out her smartphone which immediately made me feel uncomfortable especially seeing as though she was pointing the phone down towards my card I'm not saying that she was taking pictures of it but she sure did give the perception that she was and perception is everything! I have been in a similar situation at a local Walmart where a cashier actually did snap pictures of my card and attempted to use it so this made me feel very uncomfortable and needs to be address to the worker that they should not be on their phones when handling and processing customers card payments. To the current general manager I hope that you have read all of the above and I just ask that you please improve the service and the staff because it saddens me that I have to consider picking another location that is out of my way when this is my local chick-fil-a. I grew up coming to this location and as a matter of fact the original GM treated me to my first chick-fil-a milkshake here... I will never forget that but please do not let this great place be dragged...
Read moreThis is IT! I do not know how many times I keep giving this location a try only to end up just disappointed and mad. They are so close to the metro station and the freeway. But I can’t! I’m sticking with the Richie Marlboro location or any other location has got to be better than this! First it’s already late and I pull up to the drive through and the person asks me to wait twice before taking my order. It wasn’t even a lot of cars before me. It’s closing time.i place my order and am specific extra diet lemonade in the frosted lemonade and the spicy salsa dressing with my salad. I get to the window and the employees are shooting the breeze with the Manager...looked like a manger or owner or trainer. I pay and she gives me my food and turns around and continues with the conversation. I finally say am I going to get my frosted lemonade. “Oh! She’s making it.” The Manager person doesn’t even have a clue what’s going on he’s too busy talking and entertaining them. I asked make sure it has extra lemonade (I didn’t say but I like it like that because they make it taste like a vanilla shake here otherwise). When asked if it has the extra diet lemonade in it, the person making the lemonade looks and realizes she didn’t even make it diet! Turns around and just walks off. I said hey just give that one to me...the person that took my payment said no worries she’s making another one for you. Another person is making it and around the corner comes the first person that made it drinking it. The person that made it handed it to me and as I drove off...AGAIN it doesn’t taste right but I’m just glad to be gone. When I get home to eat my salad...NO DRESSING! This is only this experience...I haven’t bothered to provide a review before but everyone always raves about Chick fil a and how good their service and training is. Maybe one day they will read these reviews at this location and decide to make some changes. Or perhaps some franchise decision maker will say location ain’t everything when it comes to their brand. They have cars wrapped around because of their location and the good brand and service from other places. THIS location...
Read moreI have come to this CFA twice in last 3 years, because it is always so slow. There is always a 15-20 car drive thru line, so I only do carryout. I came in today at 438pm and I ended up leaving at 515pm! However, it should have not taken this long at all! After today, I will never return to this location. Ever.
I ordered a kids 4 count nuggets meal and an 8 count nugget. That's it! I watched people fumble around and mess up orders + other people fuss at slow 🐌 service. At minute 20, I went to counter and asked for refund.
Service-wise, there is one teenage cashier person taking orders and the manager is bagging items. It seems silly because line becomes super long if 5 orders or more come in. Also, people kept returning to get ordrr errors fixed. By the time I left, there were 20+ patrons waiting and 2 people making orders. To make things worst, manager was having side convos and moved very slow. Also, both the cashier and order maker were running orders to curbside (talk about poor systems!).The workers seemed unhappy and no one told me "my pleasure " or even smiled. It felt like I was at a gas station not Chick-fil-A!
After requesting my refund, the teen cashier promptly gave me my order in 10 seconds, after this. It was almost like they forgot I ordered. This is definitely a management and workload issue. The Bowie location made me the same meal in 3 minutes, 4 weeks ago.
Sadly, I think this CFA will not exist next year. CFA Corporate is certainly tired of me reporting their bad service and getting refunds! You can't do bad business. Certain power players are"changing" the area with a new population 😉. The newcomers/gentrif-iers will not accept this treatment. This will not be a total loss, I guess .
Note: I was forced to miss an important phone call with a sick loved one, today 😔. All because of this location and their tardiness....
