The TGI Friday's on Shoppers Way in Largo, MD ... ... PISS POOR SERVICE!!!

Decided to have dinner and a drink at this TGI Friday's. It was packed, I will admit - but since it was just me, I didn't think the wait would be too long. The bar was full, so I added my name to the list and waited patiently.

Let me just say, the young man who hosted tonight 👏🏾 because he was the ONLY person who acknowledged me and followed up. I waited 25-30 minutes before he hit me with the "you're next." Now me trying to be considerate, told him if something opens up at the bar - I'll grab that because I felt bad taking an entire table/booth to myself, with so many people waiting to be seated. Fortunately, a seat did open up at the bar.

Now, this seat was obstructed, behind a pillar. I told the host I worried the bar staff wouldn't see me, but he assured me that wouldn't be a problem. I sat there probably 15 minutes before my suspicions proved accurate. There were 3 people working the bar (2 women & a guy), but neither acknowledged me. I tried leaning around the pillar, hoping someone would spot me and come over, but no one did. It was so loud inside that I'd have to SCREAM for someone to hear me (and I was trying to avoid doing that).

Eventually, the woman beside me left, and I took that seat - thinking since it wasn't obstructed, I'd be serviced faster. NOPE!! I sat the another 15 minutes while the bar staff cashed out tickets and counted money. Annoyed at that point, very loudly I said "EXCUSE ME," to a young woman wearing a red lace front. "When you have a moment," I said, because I saw she was counting money. "One moment," she said. Those were the only words she spoke to me.

I sat there 10 MORE MINUTES - nothing!! No, "What can I get you?" or "Do you need a menu?" NOTHING!! In fact, the plates from the previous diner were still in front of me. Lace front did come over to remove those, but still SAID NOTHING!!

Horrible Experience here! Went there with about 10 people they told us our table was ready and then still had to wait another 15mns to be seated,once seated it took about 20mns to be acknowledged by waiter and another 15mns to take our order while our waiter walked around laughing with other staff! Once he started taking orders of drinks and appetizers he came back to inform us that there was no more Hennessey and that we had to choose another drink then we all ordered Patron only for him to come back and say he has no Patron either! Nor no E&J! He took everyone's order but our food didn't come out together part of our party got there food and was done eating before the rest of the party even got there food our plates were missing food they brought a completely wrong order to the table and our last person finally got his food as everyone was putting there food in boxes! The staff was very unprofessional I seen one employee have a kid with them on there hip as they walked in the kitchen as well as the police officer was in the kitchen getting food and drinks as well! Next to the kitchen there is a long bench where an employee was stretched out laying down asleep! The Waiter tried very hard to accommodate but the help couldn't get right! There was ppl waiting to be seated and there was plenty of seating just nobody was sitting customers! It seemed the staff was running around with no clue on what to do! I've been to alot of Friday's and this is the absolute worst I give them 1 star cause of my love for Friday's even though it should be minus 5 stars! Overall bad experience, won't be returning to...

Went here for a get together with my coworkers because it was my last week in the area. Wish I would have chosen differently. I called 5 hours in advance to let them know I had a party of eight. I also gave my name and a time. I arrived a few minutes after 7. I had a coworker who already was there and told the host about us. I actually was standing and waiting for awhile because my other coworker already told the host. I waited at least an additional 10 mins before I went to the host. When I told him he said it will be a wait I told him I called earlier and I spoke to the Manager Gerald. The manager came up and apologized for the confusion. Which I dont know why when I gave a name and a time. We waited for at least an additional 20 minutes for accommodation. In which while waiting I had a drink at the bar which wasn't all that good. When we were finally seated, we waited at least 10 minutes. Nobody came to the table to offer us water or appetizers. Gerald walked by with a waiter for another large table who was suppose to be waiting on us. I guess he told her about our table and she faces palmed herself like this is too much.

Where this location failed is The Manager should have brought out some free appetizers for our long wait and some waters. At least until out waitress could get to us. After taken pictures and looking at the menu for so long we decided to call over to LongHorn. They said they could accommodate and they didnt have a wait. So we got up and left. They seated us right away and we got food quickly.
