Amazing local find. Shockingly good apple fritter, was expecting the usual donut style apple fritter. What came out was a large, gorgeously warm and gooey fritter. Tasted like apple pie made sweet love to funnel cake, creating the perfect flavor.
The coffee was also really solid, if youāre a sweeter coffee person like my partner and I, take that into consideration when ordering. Our coffees were very tame, which is good for the average public. Banana bread latte and lavender honey latte were delicious, just needed a tweak for our personal palettes!
They have new food option of a sandwich apparently. Completely customizable! We got ours with focaccia, honey turkey, havarti cheese, pesto mayo and all the toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion.) Oh. my. Goodness! This thing was large enough for two people. Even though they were new and still practicing, it came out delicious. A little messy, but thatās expected with most sandwiches.
The vibes were also immaculate, soft music, cozy seating options. This place is also āconnectedā to an amazingly beautiful boutique, if you can call it that. Gorgeous locally made items as well as some second hand clothing, crystals, jewelry, and local made soaps and other scented items.
Awesome staff and friendly service as well, which can be hard to find in modern coffee shops and second hand stores, tbh.
Overall, amazing. Will be coming back for lazy days and unique finds! 100/10...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to love this place when it was the Coffee Mill. The drinks were always tasty, the employees were kind and efficient, and the atmosphere was great. After a long time without going, I decided to revisit the place now that it's Sunshine Joe's, and the experience was much worse. The old cozy, warm ambiance the place used to have was replaced by a modern feel. And I don't mean to be rude, but it took 15 minutes for just 2 drinks to be made- a coffee and a matcha. If these were my only problems, I wouldn't mind too much, maybe it could still be a decent experience. But the drinks, which were supposed to be blended, were completely liquid. My peanut butter drink had not even a hint of peanut butter, and it was nowhere near as thick as it should've been. It tasted like 20% coffee and 80% water. I cannot speak for the matcha, as that was my sister's drink, but she had nothing to say except for that she wasted her money. I hate leaving a bad review for a local shop as I know I cannot expect as good quality as some large business like Starbucks, but the experience simply...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped by since I got referred to check it out. So my sister and I went to see what this was. Itās in a quaint part of Largo ā a part I hadnāt really visited in a long time ā and will now treasure. The business is owned by a local who prides on customer service and supporting/empowering other women owned businesses by allowing advertising of products like locally grown honey & various coffee beans curated by other coffee businesses instead of bulk syrups you might find otherwise. Iām picky about my coffee and donāt tend to drink much of it ā but I see myself recommending the place to some coffee fanatics. Itās a cute place to also go study after school/hangout with friends if you want a board game/social day. Will be back with friends out of the state later on...
