I have been going to this cafe since it opened and I have never left with a bad experience or bad coffee. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cafe with both good food and an all important caffeinated drink. One hundred percent better than Starbucks and prices are better too. I've even brought my friends from college here when they were visiting, which they all loved. All of the staff are amazing and great to talk to, they remembered me every time I've gone in even with long breaks in between visits due to college. Ask them for recommendations, they are constantly trying new things and have great taste.
Drink wise I would reccomend the lattes or the apple cider that's offered during fall. The breakfast sandwiches are a must and I have a friend who swears by the morning glory muffin. Take a look at some of the events they offer there! I've gone when local artists and small businesses have set up shops outside with a food truck parked in the parking lot. They often do special things during holidays and it's amazing to see how they decorate the place. If you are looking for a cafe with an amazing atmosphere, great drinks, friendly staff, delicious food, and good prices, Haus is definitely the...
Read moreI’ve been going to this coffee shop and the other location since January of this year. Never had an issue before. The staff are always pleasant and take the time out to get to know their customers.
THE OWNER OF THE STORE IS THE ISSUE. IMAGINE GETTING THE COPS CALLED ON YOU FOR BEING BLACK AND STUDYING…..
I shouldn’t have to explain to anyone why I’m sitting at a big table waiting for my friends to join. I didn’t deserve to be grilled about how many people are coming. I didn’t deserve to be called selfish for sitting at that table even though I explained not only to her but to someone else that I have friends coming.
Throughout my interaction with the owner she constantly brought up the mens bible study group that comes there every Thursday morning ( I knew nothing about). Not sure why because that had nothing to do with me, but from the sound of it she prioritized their needs/wants over other customers. She mentioned that they would call before hand to have a bible study group and USUALLY sits at that table I was at. I told her “I didn’t know I needed to call to study with people”. She said “you don’t”…….. what she said made no sense at all and I shouldn’t have been approached and provoked...
Read moreMet my friend at the Haus Coffee Shop recently for, well, coffee. You place your order at the counter and it is brought out when ready. I ordered the croissant with butter & jam. It was lightly toasted as requested and tasted good but was not what I expected (flaky bakery croissant). It was more like the bag of 'croissants' buns you buy in the bread section of a grocery store. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich - biscuit with egg & cheese. She said it was ok. We both ordered coffee and it was fresh, hot and tasty.
Breakfast menu is available all day (closes at 3). The menu has a variety of breakfast sandwiches, (egg & cheese; bacon, egg & cheese; sausage, egg & cheese; steak, egg & cheese - choice of bagel, croissant or biscuit). The Toast selection includes toast with avocado, two eggs on top of a single slice of toast or fancy avocado toast (hummus, feta, cherry tomatoes). Oatmeal with toppings is available too.
The lunch menu has a variety of sandwiches available.
The menu is reasonably priced.
I was surprised to learn that there is a wine & beer bar too and that they have live entertainment.
The establishment is tastefully decorated, cozy and the staff is friendly. Outside seating...
