I have came here many times and although I'm typically not a review writer, I always make sure to leave a positive rating to support local businesses. I was always happy w the food here, the pasta isn't recommended and the chicken is sometimes still pink but I wouldn't mention that if not for my experience today. Today I was craving wings so I decided to give the pizza shop my business as I've never ordered wings anywhere but the reviews here looked good. I did my research, after google searching and using MY location I found the largo google overview/menu. I clicked take out menu. There is a special for 11.99 for a sub and 10 wings. When I called he did not want to honor his OWN DEAL!! He said it was 13.99. I advised I'd check again and call back. Checked again and again made sure it said my local shop. Sure enough, .2 miles away no misinterpreting that. Another guy answers who seems willing to help, but after I tell him the other man said it was wrong he puts the phone down and suddenly I'm back w the original man. I simply tell him this is what your Google menu page says. The same page your reviews from this week are on. The same reviews I see you've responded to so this is not out of date information. Regardless if you say it's now 13.99, the price is fine, but are you going to honor what it says? I will bring it in to show you when I pick up the food. I can't he says. You can't honor YOUR OWN MENU PRICE? No I can't. Ok fine I will write a review on your poor service. I have 50 employees under me in a customer service field, and if our website advertised a rate I would never suggest for my employee to turn away business. I have family over and was going to spend at least $50-60 overall, but this man lost the whole sale and future sales over his own $2 mistake. It was not about the couple of bucks to me, as I intended to tip generously for his commitment to his restaurants success. However if he isn't worried about doing the just and professional thing, then I'm not either. I suggest he hires someone to go through their own menu and make sure everything is to his greedy satisfaction. What horrible customer service, I have family and friends from golf who swear by this place, but I'll be sure to relay the experience and knowledge that this man cares more about a couple bucks than his customers and integrity.

Read moreUPDATE: 3/28/25 Another above and beyond customer experience. Ordered a pie, some knots and a lasagna. Arrived extremely fast, hot and fresh as always! But we were missing our garlic knots. No big deal, right? So I called and let me tell you... the customer service was amazing! The gentleman apologized very sincerely and he offered to immediately bring us an order of knots! I was so excited and thankful. Most places will only offer a refund and that's cool too but to have the most kind gentleman offer to bring them to us, was an awesome surprise of kindness and it reminds me why I keep coming back! UPDATE: 8/11/24 --- I have been going to Your Pizza Shop for 8 years now! Still hands down, the best pizza and service in town! But the customer service is amazing! Try their meatballs, and they have this chicken they make there too that is just to die for!!! YUMMY 😋 thanks Pizza Shop!
I have been ordering from Your Pizza Shop for two years now, it was the first pizza place we found once we bought our new house in Largo. My boyfriend is EXTREMELY picky when it comes to pizza, he does not like pizza chains like Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, etc. The very first time I ordered from here we knew we found our new favorite pizza! After my first order, there was a lady that called the next day and asked how our food was and our experience - AMAZING customer service. We order from Your Pizza Shop a lot, and when I say A LOT, I mean we have ordered from there roughly 30 times in two years. And here we are, birthday night for me and when my boyfriend said, what do you want for dinner, I said "YOUR PIZZA SHOP!" However,
2 stars for service. It seems that every time we come we get the absolute worst service from the bartender who says he’s the manager! I have been a server for so many years through college and into my nursing career, I COMPLETELY understand bad days and being ready to go home. But to treat customers as if they are an inconvenience is completely unacceptable, especially when it’s consistent and happens every time we come. We NEVER stay past close because both my husband and I have been in the service industry too long and we get it. But to consistently be told “were closing early” “I’m locking the doors whether you’re here or not 10 minutes before close” when I place an order at 9:20 is bad for business and outrageous. Again, once or twice sure but this is every time we come here!
We keep coming back for the food but honestly I’d rather have a happy server who is appreciative of my business. And if I’m being really honest, I didn’t tip on my togo this last time because of the rude service.
