Hooters — Restaurant in Las Cruces

Ive only been here a few times before but this last time I went, they had new servers and a new manager Boy was I not prepared for i experienced this last time. Me and some friends get a beer and are enjoying ourselves for a while but the problem starts with our food order. We both pay the same price for our sides and they wait 10 minutes and get a pile of nachos-well smothered and covered on grilled chicken... I wait 20 and get three skinny pieces of the meatless chicken fingers.

Whatever. I was going to let it slide and maybe mention it to the waitress.. What does she do? She first makes excuses saying that the menu stated the amount .. (it did not... but did mention they’d be plump and juicy). I say” ok well is there way to maybe exchange it?”. So she gets the manager and he comes out giving me the excuse that the chicken has to be grown and fed, you know like a joke. I laugh but I noneless feel cheated... so I ask for a replacement and he somewhat reluctantly agrees. Fast forward and I get the nachos like my friends. All good.... until Our waitress perhaps in retaliation, brings us our second order of drinks ... My god. I’ve never been more astounded at the level of incompetence. She first brings us our order wrong.... and then when she sorts it out, brings one drink as a slush mix of coconut and a last minute addition of rum... the bar tender had filled the pina colada glass up with water, ice and cocunut and then last minute put a small shot of rum.. and for the other two drinks gives us a shot mix without anything that was included in the menu, and then had the audacity to charge us 9 dollars for them.

I complained to the manager and he once again had excuses for how he had ripped us off. I was calm all the way up to the point I got my receipt.

Robert the manager did nothing but give excuses and charged us twice the amount worth my food and our drinks. Never going back here and I hope no one does unless they plan on ordering just...

When we arrive, hostess was friendly. But look like she didn't want us here. As we was seated, the waitress took her time coming over, the business was mild with people. We ordered our drinks, as my Nephew was still debating about what to drink. He very quietly said I'm thinking sweet tea. And she just took off. As we ordered our food, not a patience person I said. Guess the other male customer was more appealing. She brought out drinks and place them all in front of me and took off quickly. So to pass the drinks out among ourselves. She return like five minutes later after chatting to her co workers. We place our order. As soon as our ordered arrived, she said do you need anything else, before we could answer, she was already turning around and ready to take off. She came back like ten minutes later and my drink was almost bottom out. She said anything else.... And quickly turn around to leave, I spoke out loud and told her , mamde I need a refilled. And quickly turn around before the other could say something and left. And like every fifteen min she did the same thing. I had to call her back to fill the other drinks.

I feel out of place and not wanted to be at that Hooter. Maybe its was because we where Native Americans. I don't know what was up with that Hooters. But I have that place a two star and a dollar tip. But she'll it make up with other...

Worst experience at a Hooters I've ever had!! Ordered food and drinks right away, drinks took 20 mins to arrive and food came out cold and another 5 minutes apart before everyone got their order. Never brought extra plates. Requested refills on soda and ordered another drink, took 15 mins before waving down waitress to be told they can't make the drink and if I wanted a different drink. Requested at least the soda refill as she rolled her eyes and walked away. Ordered dessert and notified server that we were celebrating a birthday. Waited another 15 mins for her to come by and ask if we needed the check, requested to-go containers and the cake for our birthday guest. Came with cake in another 10 mins but no boxes, at this point everyone was inpatient requested to-go containers once more. After another 15 mins threw containers on table and walked off. At which point I found the manager and expressed all my concerns in which he replied "oh no, she never gives bad service, no birthday song! Tell me what I should do as you already paid." Notified manager we were from out of town and never had this experience anywhere else. Never intend on returning. A big waste of money, it's...
