Disgraced to Chicago Pizza!!! I seen this location when going to Lowe's one day and was excited knowing another close Chicago pizza place. If I would've known this is same people that was located on Commerce and Craig I wouldn't of wasted my time. When ordered from other location the 1st time I ordered a phone order and then left to pick up since I lived 25 minutes away. After waiting on phone for 5 minutes to place an order. When arrived waited another 30 minutes to get pizza. 1 cook and 1 waitress to do everything. She seemed more interested on serving the 1 table she had. Finally got pizza and hoped that waiting for pizza would've been worth it. NOPE!! Half burnt and half raw. Should've knew that the pizza wasn't going to be good when I seen conveyor pizza ovens. Real Chicago pizza isn't made with conveyor pizza ovens only deck ovens. If you want same equal or less quality go to the other chain pizza places. Now for this new location it took 4 phone calls before I finally got to place order. 1st 2x I was placed on hold and I hung up after being on hold 10 min the 1st 2x. Thought maybe they're swamped and called back 5 min later. Finally asked what I wanted then she asked me to call back. I'm like well I'm done. Not sure what's going on with the Auriellos in Vegas. I called back 1 more X and said this is it if I'm placed on hold then never again. Well 4 x's the charm. Placed ordered and went to pick up 25 min later and was thinking this place has to be packed since I was out on hold 3x. Went inside and 1 table with 2 people with 1 cook and 1 waitress. Of course she was attending to them and I waited another 10 min. I'm like not this again. I seen the conveyor pizza ovens and thought not this again. Asked girl when they open that location and she told me they moved from other location to there. I'm like uh no!!Finally got my cheese pizza and sausage pizza and hoped for the best. Got home and opened the box and found pizza cut into triangles. Any Chicagoan knows you don't cut our pizza in triangles. SQUARES!! very hesitant when trying pizza and crust was soft and almost like if it wasn't cooked all the way. With Rosati's around the corner from me and was hoping for a Chicago pizza alternative went to Rosati's to get a pizza and threw Auriellos away. $30 down the drain for a small and a medium pizza. Auriellos Corp should be ashamed that they allow these franchises to butcher there pizza. Auriellos is Totally different in Chicago. SAD!! Don't waste your time or money especially my...
Read more*update: as a local business owner myself, the owner of this place looked up my business by my phone number and wrote crazy reviews, and has been calling my phone blocked. I wrote n honest review of my treatment here and I will not hesitate to meet you in court for attempting to defame my character. This is the character of the human in control of other peoples bodies and what they digest in his establishment? You need to leave me alone or I will 100% see you you in court.
Absolutely terrified to enter back into this place. The girl working the register and answering phones was so rude to me and when I walked in and told her I was the woman she hung up on mid sentence after watching her put me on hold for 7 minutes to talk with another employee, she got so loud with that I realized she had no respect for elders, customers, or her community at this point. There were no customers in there (figures) and she took full advantage of her power. She yelled so loud at me and I asked to speak to the manager and as we were discussing the issue, she continued to scream, wave her hands and step in between me and the manager. I was truly scared for my safety at this point and allowed her to continue screaming and left. I took the order and walked out. I called my friend to have a witness to this interaction who also recorded the event (verbally). This was the worst treatment I have ever experienced by any restaurant staff. She insulted my disability ,she told me I was "just an uber driver" and "she doesn't have to be kind to me due to my line of work" then after leaving, the manager called my personal cell, and threatened me, then reported me to my job. I am also going to report this event as well. I felt bullied, I was harassed after the matter, and I was yelled at and embarrassed for addressing her rude behavior. After reading these reviews (the ones that are not promoted by offering discounts to customers), I see there is a clear pattern of her treatment to customers. There are over 15 reviews regarding the hostess, or phone girl. This needs to be reported to the corporate office in Illinois, on top of the reviews of rotten food being delivered, refusal to rectify customer's order issues, and the treatment she has gotten away with. Whether this is due to my racial makeup, or that I was a woman alone on her turf with no customers to put on a good show for; I do not know. Please enter this establishment...
Read moreThis was an amazing pizza experience. My husband who grew up in the Midwest (Wisconsin) has griped about the lack of decent pizza everywhere we have lived. From Virginia, to Miami, and Georgia, he’s never found a good enough pizza that lived up to the expectations he has from his childhood. Well, that changed today after visiting Aurelio’s. The thin crust pizza, while not exactly like his youth, was the best part of our trip to Vegas. He did research well in advance to our trip and discovered the rave reviews for the thin crust pizza at this restaurant. Those reviews were spot on. The crust was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful mouthfeel and texture. The sauce was really yummy, they weren’t kidding with their slogan, “It’s the sauce!” Personally, I thought this pizza was BETTER than his favorite from Wisconsin because this one had almost a flaky, nearly phyllo-esq. quality that I find irresistible. Last, but not least, our server Andres was so friendly and attentive. He really cared about his work and it showed through his level of service. I had asked if they had garlic seasoning for the tables and he told me while they didn’t, he’d be happy to get me some from the back. Great food, great service, highly recommend. We...
