Louie Louie The Restaurant Sushi Bar y Mas — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Been looking for a good hibachi place. Saw this one near by where I was at. Its got a cool japanese vibe to it. Sushi chefs making sushi japanese art on the walls. Theres plenty of seating booths and tables. The server was nice. Unfortunately, pressed for time we ended up having to take our food to go. Ordered the combination hibachi which came with shrimp, ribeye steak, and chicken. First off the portion was huge, they definitely don’t skimp you on the portion of meats. A lot of hibachi places is all rice and veggies and light on the meats but they give you a really good amount. It was very flavorful as well! The fried rice underneath it all was actually really good! And the meat was tender and not chewy! Was really pleased to find this place will come back for more hibachi! 'Hit' or 'Miss?' I am 58 years old and have traveled the world (but this doesn't guarantee that I have any taste). Very nice facility. Lots of tv's and SUPER friendly folks as well. We started with the calamari. In our opinion, too much breading and didn't really have very much taste. We are still in search of good calamari in the Vegas Valley. The ginger that came with our rolls was soured a little and that kind of put us off. We had the Caliente & BFR rolls. Meh. Man I love this place. The food is great and very fresh and the service is that family feel you don't really get any more with restaurants. Most places you go they treat you like you're just another customer. Here they actually care about you and take time to get to know you and remember your name when you come in.

Who is reasonably priced for a sushi place. Definitely not on the low end of price but still reasonable.

It is a little dated with the furniture and some of the booths need some new upholstery work but I ignore all of it because the people are nice and the food is good. 100% would recommend the hibachi even though they don't cook it in front of you it is...
