Very disappointing experience!
I will start with the one thing that is true about other reviews:
Everyone is very friendly!
However friendly, while one of the hardest things to get right in the service industry the basics are actually safety, cleanliness and functionality. There were too many negatives which is surprising for any business in Summerlin, especially in such a quiet night. I went with my 2 toddler daughters because they wanted a playground and were hungry. Here they go in chronological order: I specifically asked for my burgers without pickles and I got pickles. (Shouldn't happen but not the end of the world) We went to the playground and the first thing I smelled was smoke (cigar-like) smell in the area. What parent in their right mind would ever go back there? The tunnels were disgusting. I found out because my daughters started to yell out all the things they were seeing during their play. I went up and sure enough there was old food sitting in multiple spots inside the tunnel. This should be checked constantly. I asked for 2 cups for water which they kindly gave me (again super friendly - well done!). -There are no signs on the water buttons both units are not fully functional, I had to try at least 5 times to get water. I should say this did not look like a new problem. (Check your maintenance requests) One of my daughters wanted to go to the restroom. I took them in the ADA cubical in the men's room. The lock does not work (again does not seem like a new problem). The restroom just did not seem clean. It looked and smelled sloppy and dirty. When they finished playing, we left via the main front door, where the drive through order taker was smoking. At least go at the back or something. Smoking in the area where people enter and exit a good establishment is.the worst thing you can do. You might as well verbally tell people not to come back! So that was my last impression of the experience, even the if the precious 6 points had not happened, that would be enough for me not to come back. In closing, there are some areas of Las Vegas that are better than others, Summerlin is one and that is why I moved here. The thing is that this Burger King seems very mis-managed. Very nice people but with no leadership it seems, otherwise the place would be different. This seems like a Burger King in a downtown high traffic, non- residential area and that is just not the case. I invite the owner of this business to check on the things I have mentioned here and I will be interested to see if these things get resolved or if this falls on deaf ears. I...
Read moregot a fiery bacon, chicken sandwich and really regret. It was out for two days with food poisoning having fluids come out both ends for 24 hours on the third day. I approached the facility and proceeded to talk with a manager, which was very hostile and unconcerned at first, he didn’t believe me, and asked me why I had not returned that same day or called which intern I returned stating that I was not from the area and I was not capable of communicating at the time because of how severe the food poisoning was, I presented him with the receipt and elaborated on the people working at the time which were very easy to distinguish and describe when he finally asked me what he would like for me to do. I then replied I think I’ll have to make a call to someone else because it seems like you don’t know what you should do which you should. This is a very dangerous situation and you should have been taking notes times names and information so that something like this would not happen again, completely unprofessional unwilling to help no sincerity no compassion not a care in the world don’t eat here you’ll...
Read moreIt was a typical Burger King. Nothing outstanding. I was there on Independence Day after I marched in the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade and the manager made a point of letting everyone know that he wasn’t happy that people had parked in the parking lot to go and watch the parade and he was having their cars towed. I didn’t see a problem, since there were plenty of open spaces left, even with my car and those of three of the members of my group that all stopped there to eat. I would have put flyers on the cars inviting them to come in for food and a 10% discount, instead of risking making potential customers angry. They may have already been planning on eating at BK after the parade and that’s why they parked there instead of closer to the parade route. My group of six were the only customers in the restaurant for the 45 minutes that I was there, so additional business might have been a good thing. Oh well,...
