Caren's Cake is an absolute gem of a culinary treasure in the heart of our city, and I can't say enough about their mouthwatering Jamaican Ox Tails! This place is an undisputed haven for food lovers, and my taste buds are forever grateful for their existence.

From the moment I stepped into Caren's Cake, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, and their passion for creating exceptional dishes was evident from the get-go. But let's get to the star of the show for today - those meaty Jamaican Ox Tails!

The ox tails at Caren's Cake are nothing short of spectacular. Each succulent, fall-off-the-bone bite is a symphony of flavors that dance on your taste buds. This is not a Fast Food eatery.. more like a home cooked meal.. kinda spot.. like get your food and eat at home.. kinda spot.. so people can't watch you pig out.. kinda spot!! Absolutely amazing customer service!! They went above and beyond our order!! I needed something immediately done.. because I waited till the last minute for an event.. and they pulled through!! I highly recommend Karen's cakes...

Caren's Cakes and Cindy's cookies this is a Business that I patronized .But I must say after today I won't be spending another dime with this Business .I went there earlier for Chicken wings I didn't feel like Cooking I like my Chicken fried hard they know this my guy and myself always request our chicken to be fried hard. I sat down in the establishment because they cook fresh food which I like , but after today I will no longer spend a dollar with these people . Even though it's right across the street from where I live . I was hungry and willing to wait to have my chicken cooked the way I like it I thought I heard Cindy call my name so I got up and went to the Counter she came out from behind the Counter and handed me my food when I got it home I saw that it was not fried to my liking I ate only 2 and a half of a wing because I was Super hungry I also bought a Peanut butter cookie that was not included in my bag. So I called them and explained the Chicken was not hard as I requested .She offered more Chicken or a refund I took the refund I said to the Daughter that I like the way your Mom fries my Chicken next thing I know the Mother Caren is yelling at me saying in my Daughter's defense you wouldn't wait for the Chicken to get fried harder that's far from the Truth I thought I heard the Daughter call my name that's why I went to the counter I guess Caren didn't have her Drink today that's why she's so irritated anyway if yelling at Customers is the new business practice I'm good on you And will never spend another dime of my money with you .You need me to keep your doors open I don't need you Did you forget I was a Chef and there are Multiple places around the Area to get Chicken at, Popeyes being one of them Good Luck Caren maybe you need to take a class in...

I read the reviews and my expectations were too high. I came from over 35 minutes away because this was a Black owned bakery. My trip in December the store was too packed. I came back in January 3 times and they were closed. At this point I'm adamant and return a fifth time late January order food and a cake, I'm the only person there. My food was wrong I called and she said she'll make a note with my cake. That didn't happen. I didn't get the expensive sides I ordered when I picked it up. The cake was not what we ordered (Strawberry lemonade cake, it was vanilla with strawberries and lemons in the middle and top [we asked for no fruit and we thought it was strawberry flavored cake as we originally asked for strawberry crunch which is strawberry cake and she said she didn't have the ingredients but she has a strawberry lemonade flavor] so that happened), I still took it, we tried eating it but it taste like Sam's club icing. I still encourage you to Go and get your own experience. Everyone's tastebuds are different, the fish tasted drenched in accent or something and I ordered wings but got the ones cut in half unbreaded. Nothing was good just $82 in FS gone into the trash 😔 Nice...
