El Burrito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Las Vegas

The atmosphere is great once you get inside. It’s so dark outside it’s hard to tell if they’re even open. The chips and salsa are fantastic! Unfortunately it ended there and as a new resident to the neighborhood this place was a major disappointment. The rice tasted so bland and dried out it was probably from a box purchased from discount store. The ground beef in the taco was so bland I couldn’t swallow it - literally spit it out and I’ve eaten a lot of different types of food, especially Mexican - it was truely disgusting. The chicken burrito was overly salty and tasted like tuna (probably because of the texture) but with a chicken taste - pretty watery and over-shredded. Don’t’ get me started on the gooey tortilla wrapped around it. The wait staff were great though! If the food was good, this probably would have been a regular dining place. I have been eating here since 1996 I Love this place and I went last year in December 2020, I got the same thing I always got either burrito with cheese and enchilada sauce. Or chicken and cheese enchilad with beans and rice, I love the red sauce and the cheese so much and it tastes so good with the rice and as always I got noodle soup, and I feel I pair's well with a Shirley temple, well I enjoyed my meal, my girlfriend enjoyed her meal and it was also her first time there. Well I do have to say the food isn't as good as it used to be, the Shirley temple was watered down tasting and so was the soup, service was ok but the guy that came out that looked like a manager or he worked in the back kitchen I really didn't like his vibe and I know I had been there a year earlier so I kjownthe owner is still there and his daughter, but this time...

This is the most bland and mushy Mexican food I have ever eaten. Most items we ordered were from a box or a can, but it was definitely not fresh. There was no seasoning on anything. I ordered a combination entrée with a beef taco, beef enchilada, and chili relleno. The beef was flavorless, and the chili relleno looked like a soft piece of fish and was so mushy and flavorless. It wasn't edible. My husband ordered the shrimp fajitas, and it came out with 6 small butterflied pieces that tasted like butane and char. We like to try new restaurants, but this was very disappointing. The server asked if I wanted to box it up. I usually take my leftovers home, but I just couldn't. With 20+ years in business, I expected better. Don't waste your money...
