This place is solid. It's right down the street from me so I've eaten here quite a few times.
The first time was magical, and quite honestly; if that had been the only time, I might have given this place five stars.
The fried calamari is great. It's crispy, fresh and comes with a great sauce. I'm a huge fan of Nam Tok, and fundamentally, theirs is great. The beef is fresh, onions and basil are on point. The only problem is the spice level. The first time I got it, I got it super extra spicy. It was spicy but not in the right way. It just had tons of salty/spicy seasoning on it, so it was more salty than actually spicy. The man working there told me that next time I need to order it Thai style if I wanted fresh chopped Thai Chili in it.
The next time I went, I ordered it Thai style and the woman working there looked at me like I was crazy and had no idea what I was talking about. I again asked for it very spicy and it came out even less spicy than before. So, I've just stopped ordering it.
The Larb is really good. It's not the best I've ever had by a long shot but it's fresh, well prepared and hits the spot.
The crab rangoons are good. They are a little different—more delicate. I recommend trying them without the sauce because they actually have a decent crab flavor! The friend shrimp appetizer is pretty good, kind of anemic but satisfying nonetheless.
Overall, I can definitely recommend this place. It's good food, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is casual. You will definitely get your money's worth and...
Read moreBACK HERE FOR THE SECOND TIME!! - If you’re in Las Vegas and craving authentic Thai flavors, BaanBaan Bangkok Style Thai Food is an absolute must! We ordered the Panang Beef, Pad Thai Beef, Spring Rolls, Beef Noodle Soup, and Crispy Chicken with Lemon Sauce, Mango Sticky Rice — and every single dish was a flavor explosion.
The Panang Beef was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the Pad Thai had that perfect balance of sweet, savory, and tangy that keeps you coming back for another bite. The Spring Rolls were fresh and crispy, the Beef Noodle Soup was deeply comforting with a rich broth, and the Crispy Chicken with Lemon Sauce had the perfect crunch paired with a bright, zesty kick.
Dining here felt like being transported back to Thailand — or at least given a delicious glimpse into it. The flavors, and presentation brought back memories of bustling street markets and cozy neighborhood eateries.
What truly made our experience shine was our server, Tukta. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Her warm hospitality matched the quality of the food — and that’s saying a lot!
Highly recommend BaanBaan for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Thai food in Vegas. We’ll...
Read moreIf you’re craving real Thai food that tastes just like home, this place is a must. The flavors are so authentic it honestly made me forget I was thousands of miles away from Thailand. Every dish reminded me of what I’d eat back home — bold, balanced, and full of that classic Thai warmth.
I highly recommend trying the Pla Lui Suan — the fish was perfectly cooked, with herbs and sauce that hit all the right notes: spicy, tangy, and fresh. The ginger chicken stir-fry was another standout — comforting, fragrant, and full of flavor without being heavy. And don’t skip the fish cakes — they were crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired with a dipping sauce that brought everything together.
The staff here are super friendly and polite. Our server was really sweet and helped us choose dishes based on what we were in the mood for. It felt like being taken care of by someone who genuinely cared about our experience.
If you’re looking for a Thai restaurant in the U.S. that actually gets the flavors right — not just “inspired by” Thai food — this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back....
