Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos — Restaurant in Las Vegas

This place is one of our favorite places to eat! As many times as we have been here I keep forgetting to leave a review. We have tried almost everything on the menu and my favorites are the carne asada platter, carne asada tostada, elote and strawberry/pineapple fresca! The food is consistent and a good place to get a meal for a decent price. My husband likes their chicken taco combo and quesadillas. It can get busy on Friday night so we try to get there early. This establishment is closed on Sunday so make sure you come during the week or Saturday. You can order and take out as well. Make sure you try their salsas as they are pretty tasty. So when I get mexican food I usually know what I'm getting when I order, a taco is a taco, burrito, fries etc.. Do not have the comfortably here. Seems like they got some pintrest recipes and went it here and doesn't actually know true Mexican food, and if they do they don't serve it. The "tacos" was more mini burrito. Tacos, onions, cilantro, meat, sometimes creme. That's it. Cheese, beans, guacamole, ruins the taco. The Asada fries, yes those aren't true mexican food but I like and they serve them haha. We used to love this place. Now we are done. This is about the 5th time our food has been wrong and this time they said our food wasn't ready but clearly they microwaved everything. There is a whole in the Styrofoam box my burrito came in. I can't even eat it. The corn it the nastiest thing I've ever ate. None of the food was even warm and everything we asked not be put on the food is on the food. I understand it's Cinco De Mayo but that's why I checked the times to see how long it would take.
