Disappointing and sad that my experience at this KFC has led me to taking the time to give this review. On Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at approximately 7pm - Despite members of my family telling me to not go to this specific location at 8590 W. Cheyenne Ave. (at Rampart) Las Vegas, NV due their poor customer service experiences, I still went because I was in the area and wanted KFC. Approaching the counter, an employee named Ash was counting money and conversing with co-workers. I was patient and cordial. When she was ready to take our order Ash proceeded to be unfriendly and unhelpful during the order taking process. Her attitude and demeanor reflecting a feeling of I was disrupting her life just by placing our order, of, why was I bothering her, rudeness- no expression, no smile, no cordiality. Minutes later, we proceeded to receive our family meal and asked the young man with curly hair for sauces, as it was four of us having the meal. He said he could only give us two small packets. I actually thought this was a mistake. I iterated that I had just spent almost $30 on a family meal and had always received various sauces in the past. He was considerate and polite and explained how that is KFC's policy and he couldn't give more sauces without charging. I asked a woman with long hair like Ash, who was present, observing this interaction, working in the food area, if there was anything that could be done about sauces and her rudeness and attitude was equal to Ash's. She gave a nasty leer and without expression and in a monotone voice said that more sauces would be a charge. I understand people have off days or moments, however, my family had warned. In addition, after leaving, when I described these interactions, they said it was the same women who were unpleasant with them. I went home with a heavy feeling and it almost ruined all of our meals. So, what is so unnerving about these women's behavior and interactions with this woman and Ash and what one is to conclude, is that these persons actually made a choice: They chose to be unfriendly and nasty. They put their energy into taking this route as opposed to putting the same energy into be polite...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDuring the afternoon of September 24, 2023, precisely between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., I had an unfortunate experience at the KFC drive-thru located on W Cheyenne/Durango Drive. As I approached the drive-thru, I noticed that the employee had a negative tone. The standard greeting that I was expecting was non-existent, and instead, the employee's tone was rude and impolite. I was informed in a disrespectful manner that my order had not been received and that I needed to park and pick it up inside the store since online orders were not allowed through the drive-thru.
Feeling a bit taken aback, I proceeded to park my car and walk inside the establishment to retrieve my order. However, my arrival inside the store was not met with a welcoming atmosphere. Instead, I was left waiting for over 45 minutes without any form of acknowledgement, even from the store manager who gave me an unpleasant look. This behavior was quite disheartening, especially since I am a regular customer of KFC. I strongly believe that everyone deserves respect, regardless of their status or position.
As a customer of KFC, I expect to be treated with respect and politeness, especially when conducting business through the drive-thru. It is imperative that employees uphold the values and standards of KFC, which is to establish and maintain good business relationships with their customers. Therefore, I highly recommend that the employees at this KFC location be reminded of the importance of being respectful and pleasant when communicating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst, let me say I just bought a side of coleslaw as I am a vegetarian and can't order much at KFC anymore. I love the coleslaw and miss their chicken greatly. I figured that I could pick up a quick side of coleslaw and be in and out quickly. I was wrong. They were busy, people were waiting for their orders and a man passed me on his way out saying, "be prepared to wait awhile". I thought, it's just coleslaw, how bad can it be? A gentleman who appeared to be new took my order and then walked away. I began waiting with four other groups also awaiting their food. What began happening next I am not sure how to describe. David,(that is how he identified himself) an employee who seemed to be in charge, started barking at someone about doing their job. It was rude and appeared to be aimed at a female employee of color. He yelled "I am not your mama or daddy and you were hired to do a job." David insisted that he wasn't addressing her and that he was referring to someone in the back. Whomever he was yelling at with such disdain doesn't matter. It was unprofessional, plain and simple. The experience was enough to have one woman leave before placing her order and others speak out at his horrible behavior. I don't know if he can be retrained or if he needs disciplinary action taken, but I will definitely think twice before returning to this...
