Tue., 10/19/2021: PERHAPS THE PANDEMIC'S TO BLAME A co-worker tried going to Popeyes for lunch, and said she the Drive-Thru line was too long to wait, so she tried going in, but they weren't allowing dine-in, at that time, so she went somewhere else for lunch, but, it was hearing that the line was long, that pîqued my interested, because I haven't eaten at a Popeyes in years, so, I decided to stop-in after work, to find out what the hype was about.

In anticipation of a long drive-thru line, I downloaded the app, and learned (later, in the drive-thru) I couldn't place an order, using the app, because this restaurant does not accept orders using this method.

The door had a misleading sign, reading, "FACE COVERING REQUIRED. Please help us protect the safety of out team and guests", and another, Hours of Operation, "(Lobby) 10am-8pm, Drive through 10am-10pm", and I was visiting at about 5:50 PM. I tried walking-in, to place my order, and there were no signs on the door indicating no walk-in orders were accepted; I had to knock, for someone to communicate from afar, that orders are only being accept via the drive-thru. I drove to the drive-thru, and let them know it would be helpful, to other customers, for the door to have signage indicating only drive-thru orders were being accepted.

The drive-thru menu showed items that were not available, including apple fritters, which had been a factor influencing my decision to buy here, today. There had been a sign near the front door (that I didn't see on the drive-thru menu), reading, "Hate that we're run-in' short. We might be runnin' low on some of your favorite fixins, but we're workin' hard to stock up. Thanks for understanding.".

I ordered the '2 Can Dine' order with their mild recipe, mashed potatoes, fries, and 2 biscuits, for $10.84 (tax included). Some of the chicken pieces I received were chewy, and seemed old, but most of them were okay, but there was not consistency in the quality of the chicken I was served.

Overall, the drive-thru staff was friendly, given the circumstances beyond their control; however, I don't expect to return here, until the next time I forget what my experience...

Our food came out fast and it's really good, but we waited 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. I'm pregnant and really needed the restroom, I would have just gone but they have to buzz you in. One girl just sat on her phone while we waited and she clearly saw us at the counter. Everyone else just kept turning their backs to us. The girl that had her phone finally put it down and came to ask us what we wanted. After for finally using the restroom I came out to order. While waiting for someone to come to the counter 2 girls we're on their phones, one was talking on it while walking back and forth behind the counter, the other was texting and then one other girl was just standing there picking her nails. We don't have Popeyes where I'm from and I was really craving or I'd just leave and go somewhere else. Finally someone came to take our order. She seemed to be the only person to give a dang while we were there. The whole time we were waiting she was putting orders together because it seemed like nobody else was doing their jobs. I would definitely not recommend this location to...

Like the food, but the store shift lead and Mgr assist do NOT have a working system in store with their crew. As I walked in The PIC (Blue shirt) was at the cash register tending to a customer. Soon after she was done I expected to be "next" as she turned away, I thought she was going to place the order and come back?? To take my order?...no greet, just turned away and never came back. I stood there waiting to see if she would at least tell me "someone will be right with you"? Nooo...I stood there about a good minute until an employee saw my look of expectation and came to take my order. But busy talking with another employee (Light Blue Shirt)...meanwhile there was NO tea, i flagged her and she took the dispenser away and brought it back with only one refill. And the Spout was facing away from the counter. Floors were unattended and some tables not cleaned. Too many employees not well organized. Opportunity for value added improvement. There were only two patrons, by the time I got my food, there was a line...nothing had changed....

I am so mad right now. Just got off work and said I'll head to Popeyes which is a 15 minute drive from me. I order the 5 pc 2 can dine and a chicken wrap. Cashier doesn't give me a receipt I think nothing of it. They ask me to park so they can bring out my food. I wait another 5-7 minutes I get home and I have 2 extra hard crunchy biscuits, dry old chicken, and half a spoon of mac and cheese. Ridiculous I spent $16 for what??!!! Chicken wrap wasn't any better it was cold and they had no lettuce.

I love Popeye's but i don't love every location. This one is solid. I got in pretty close to closing but they served me a fresh hot meal that was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. the restaurant was clean and I would definitely eat here again. I've gotten nervous about eating at Popeye's too close to closing time. I've been served cold or dried out food at a few locations and I get nervous now. These guys rose above and fed me well. I'll be back!
