I used to love this place. The food was always great. So my partner thought it would be a perfect valentines date for us and our children. We called and made a reservation in advanced. Even reserved 2 tables to accommodate our large family. I got all 5 of our daughters ready, did their hair, dressed them up for Valentine’s Day, got them all excited. Got myself ready. In the car we were excitedly planning on what everyone was going to order. Get to the restaurant for our scheduled reservation time. The hostesses tell us our reservation “must have fallen through the cracks” and told we can be seated outside, with our 5 children including our infant daughter, when it’s 54 degrees outside and extremely windy. No other solution was offered but to sit outside. Now we can’t make a reservation anywhere else for our hungry children because it’s Valentine’s Day and a Sunday. As much as I loved their food in the past I will not be eating here again because the customer service was very poor. I know it won’t make a difference to the company because they will continue to get business but I will never recommend them to anyone else...

It has been quite a while since I've been here-- 6 years to be precise-- and boy oh boy did I miss it! I was a regular for years and my schedule changed, and so didn't get to visit, plus fell out of the habit of eating breakfast out. (Although, they do serve lunch which is great, I primarily have always gone for the breakfast no matter early morning or early afternoon.)

They recognized me the moment I entered, as core staff is stable, which makes it so great. I missed the coffee cake, which is favorite for folks. Omelet was fabulous, and the side of fruit I substituted for the potatoes, which are also yummy, but I wanted fruit, was substantial and tasted great. Too much to eat all of it, so I took half home.

They have a loyalty card program and the manager for this original location, Armando, remembered me by name, and is his usual friendly self. So great to go back and see it is just as great as I remembered and full of the ambiance and familiarity, feeling like...

First time and most likely last visit. An unexpected trip to a local hospital necessitated a search and ultimately breakfast here. Liked the optional outdoor seating which was somewhat uncomfortable but functional for a normal breakfast duration. The inside looked as though there were some more comfortable arrangements available if I had been willing to wait. The service was efficient as the restaurant was fairly busy and the wait staff friendly. The omelette, hash browns and side fruit; all things considered were good. The quantity of portions was fair at best. I thought the side of fruit was small, under-ripe, and under whelming. Overall if you are in the majority of folks out there with the normal range of opinion and standards; you will be pleased. There is a big difference between 4 and 5 stars in this mind. Overall a good choice for most and perhaps for what else is available nearby for...

So, Iv been coming to Cracked Egg specifically this location for over 20yrs.. It used to be one of the best locals breakfast spots you could go to (hence the awards on the wall). Iv seen it have its ups and downs but I’d have to say in the last 3yrs just a slow steady decline in quality and pricing literally sky rocketing. Photo pictured is my last order and this was $20! That’s more expensive than the strip and this was no better than a greasy dinner breakfast…. They have lost their way it seems, hence no awards in over a decade. Maybe they can turn it around or at least bring pricing back down to earth. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Located on Cheyanne near the Corner of Buffalo. I have been coming here for years as my bestie and I love their Monte Cristo! The wait staff were friendly and attentive quick to take our orders and checking in on us periodically. What we ordered: 1.) Ham and cheese omelette. My friend’s husband said it had a good taste. 2.) Tuna Melt: my husband said it was ok. 3.) Monte Cristo with crispy hash browns. They are always consistent with this order, hash browns were crispy and Monte Cristo fried just right. A must try is their Homemade Coffee Cake it is delicious. The prices are not over the top as some reviewers have said! We will be back…
