My wife and I love Sonic- became a strange addiction of ours, showing up almost daily for our chosen shakes, drinks, and snacks. With the app making ordering easier and better in my opinion- less chance for human error regarding what you order. But the real best part is the promos (app only) and 1/2 price items all day long. Makes getting a huge Route 44 slush - for less than $2- quite the deal. With the price of everything skyrocketing, especially fast food, little gems like that go a long way. The food, I swear has something in it that can get you hooked on it worse than crack! Between my wife and I, this location probably waits on order daily- 2 route 44 Powerade slushes, 2 pretzel twists, 1 medium Butterfinger Blast, and 1 medium Cheesecake Mastershake. Hooked. The staff is friendly and has always been helpful if any mistakes or issues have ever arisen— never have I left in disappointment or feeling screwed over. It's nice to be able to pull up, pre-order via the app, have food or whatever show up swiftly, and be able to enjoy being left alone to enjoy in the stalls or leave immediately- your choice. I'll always recommend Sonic- and always this location. Thanks for the great experiences guys! ▪︎-–—–-▪︎-–—–-▪︎-–—–-▪︎-–—–-▪︎ PS; just a bit of an update that I'd like to add now after have uses the app now for quite some time, gotten to know it's in–and–outs, especially thru it's growing pains in the beginning up to now, which, I can say has honestly gotten much better since it's initial release; it's a better layout and looks much better, it's UI is a lot easier to navigate, crashes or messes up orders a lot less— overall, it's stepped up it's game. The ONLY thing that irks the hell outta me is the fact, that Sonic is known to be able to customize your drinks, slushes, shakes, etc etc....ANYWAY that you'd like. But the app is very limited in that regard, only offering its mian, popular options and if you want something done different — your left with no answer expect not to use the app and lose your discounts and rewards. There is a workaround that I've been doing in order to have the best of both worlds: I make my order how I want it, and for items that aren't on the app or don't offer whatever customization I'm looking for, I just add something similar [ie. I want a fruit punch slush but it's not at all offered on app], then I put Powerade slush or whatever they do offer thru the app, make my payment, pull up to stall, and then finalize my payment right there. I then call them, pressing the red button, explain my changes I want to make because app doesn't offer it. And there you go...still get those rewards and cheaper pricing. Besides this issue, which is annoying because I cant really set it up in advance so when I pull up its ready....or else they'll have made something I didn't want because I didn't call to replace it yet.. but small issue really. Read moreNormally, I don't like to give bad reviews but since the last few times have not been that great, I think it's time to give them what they deserve. I mean i get it, it's fast food and it's not a super high quality 5 star restaurant, but I mean cmon when I have to wait for over half an hour to get my complete order!?!?! All I ordered was tots the picked fries and mozzarella sticks 2 ice creams for my dogs and a sonic blast and a for beer float. I then proceed to wait from when I place my order to pay that's like 10 minutes. Then as soon as i pay the clock starts. I get my fried food first then a few minutes later I get the sonic blast, then about 5 minutes after that she says ok or ice cream isn't working right now it'll take 10 minutes to come back up, I'm like ok no problem I'll just pull onto a stall. She said no just wait there. Like what? Why, I see you preparing everything else for everyone behind me why am I waiting here. 20 minutes go by and she finally comes to the window and says oh well the machine isn't coming back so do you just want to cancel your order? I'm like at this point yes, refund my money so I can just leave, I already ate my food in the drive through, and my blast is already melted so she takes her time to go to the register next thing I know she then brings out 1 of the ice cream and says oh we just got it back up. And I'm like fine, just get my stuff and I can leave. Another 8 minutes go by and I get my other ice cream and root beer float, and even the first ice cream started to melt and barely got anything on the second ice cream. Seems this place has many issues for whatever reason, needs new machines or just needs to be managed better, I don't know either way just ridiculous. I don't think I'll be back for quiet a while. I know that this isn't going to ruin sonics reputation and I don't want to sound like an entitled Karen, just giving advice to hopefully if you have other choices go elsewhere unless this is your only option, just know you will always have to wait egregious amounts of time in drive...
Read moreOh my.. I visited this location to pick up an order for door dash on 12/03/23 @ 12:31am and received the worst service I've ever experienced.
I pulled up to a stall and pushed the button. A young lady yells out that the stalls are closed and to go to the drive thru, no greeting, no friendly tone, just yelling. I pushed it again and she wouldn't even give me an opportunity to speak. I wasn't sure if they could just bring it out or if I had to get in line which was very long and that's what I was trying to avoid. After pressing the button and being barked at several times, I had to interrupt her yelling and say that I was there for a pick up. She said the same thing in an extremely rude tone.
I waited in the long line, get to the window, and she gives me the order. I ask for her name, she asks why. I told her that I would like to do a review on my service. She tells me (in an aggressive tone) that I'm not a customer so it doesn't matter and she doesn't have to give me her name.
She was a young unattractive Caucasian girl, very pointy nose, and pointy ears. If you're unhappy with your job that's fine but don't take it out on the people that pay or anyone else for that matter. Everyone isn't cut out for customer service jobs and that's why warehouse jobs exist and other jobs similar.
I asked her two times and she wanted to argue so I just said it's ok and drove off. I was still able to get her name and it is Jaycee but she sometimes goes by Marie. If you don't like your job, don't take it out on others...
