Yesterday 11/19, I went to the Starbucks on Harland Rd in Lathrop. Time was between 3:20-4:15. This will also be the LAST time I attend this Starbucks. This review is directly for the management to look into. I have never, in the 12 years purchasing Starbucks, been told to leave right after purchasing my coffee along with my friend. Your business hours state 9 pm, we were kicked out of lobby at 4:15. Your employee, young man, who’s name starts with a W, as he told me,, came up to us, telling us, in a low voice, that they were closing and if we could leave the lobby. We were confused at his request and asked, when,? Right now? He said ..Yes. We questioned why at that moment, but he just said they had to close because they were understaffed. There was only one other customer besides us, and drive through. Yet he and two other young ladies working in the front. They were well staffed. Instead of being behind the counter, working, he went to tell the other customer to leave as well, which he did, and turned away 4 other customers coming to the door. We refused to leave until we finished our drinks. But he and the other two young ladies, who refused to give their names, told us to finish our drinks in the patio. Excuse me.. but it was very cold outside and why should we, if business hours were still in effect? However, they continued to take orders and collect money in drive through. I also paid cash, and they did NOT give me a receipt until I asked for it before we left. Very, very discouraging for Starbucks reputation… I filed a complaint to corporate.. they have to know the horrible service and lost of customers they had in just 1 hour we...
Read moreReview: Poor Customer Service Experience
I visited this Starbucks today (Lathrop Starbucks) and had a disappointing experience with lady staff. I placed my order and waited patiently for my food. The staff clearly saw me waiting, yet instead of calling out my order or handing it to me, they left it sitting somewhere while they were busy chatting, checking social media, and having fun .
After waiting for about five minutes, I had to approach them and ask about my order. Their response? “Your food is over there; you’re supposed to check.” When I pointed out that they saw me standing and waiting without assisting, their dismissive response was, “Thank you, have a great day,” which felt like an indirect way of saying, “Get out.”
It seemed like they purposely acted this way because I didn’t tip for my $3 order. If Starbucks has responsible managers who care about customer service, I urge you to address this behavior. There were three staff members on duty today (Three girls) who appeared more focused on their personal enjoyment than providing basic customer service.
This was unprofessional and unacceptable. Starbucks is known for its great customer service, but experiences like this make me reconsider visiting again. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures proper training for...
Read moreI use to work at a customer service before so it does hurt me writing this but I just can't wake the service they do in this place, they are always unhappy, sloppy, slow and even the manager doesn't seems to like that place, the first time I was there they were surprised that I had a mobile order done there, than the second time they almost screamed at me for a mobile order too, and just last night I was craving a caramel coffee as I like to ask for it every time, but they had other plans, it was only 3 cars away from me and the guy literally took him 15 min for 3 coffees, than when I got to the window they even put what I asked for even though they charged me for it, plus they run out of honey, I told the guy it was OK for regular sweetener it took him about 3 min to pour 4 pumps and give me my coffee, it's redundant to say that I was late to work and my coffee taste just wrong. So I write this hopefully for a new customer to see this and not go there until they fix those behaviors I understand those guys need a job, but it's not hard to do it and they're making like it's the most difficult job in the entire world, so easy to say that I will never coming back to this place, I rather spent the long lines at Stockton than paying for a drink that...
