Chef Pats Seafood and Grill — Restaurant in Lauderdale Lakes

By far one of the worst customer service experiences I've had all year! First off it took me forever to get here cause I Uber'd their breakfast to me when it was chefsforner and they continuously deny that they've ever had two locations, so I had to call somebody who worked their before just to find out chef pats is the same breakfast from chefs corner, and that the chefs corner location was shut down. Then I finally order... place my order at 9:21... was told that it'd be ready in 20-25 minutes only to get there at 9:56 and the cashier not know who I am or what order I'm talking about. Then she proceeds to act as if she found the order, and take my money. Tells me after I pay that it's gonna be 15 minutes, which basically means they never put my order in. If I told you I called 30 minutes ago why would you not tell me I have to wait another 15 BEFORE taking my money. Good thing I paid cash so a refund was immediate, but the manager comes out to do the refund with an attitude as if I'm inconveniencing them! Nobody cared at all for my time wasted. Great food at this place, but the customer service here is exactly why people have a hard time supporting black owned business. This experience turned what would've easily been a repeat customer into a guy that will never be back

Edit: Being called aggressive and gaslit for being upset that my order wasn’t done in 40 minutes and was told to wait another 15 when I was told it would only take 25 is crazy. Even the response to my review shows how the owners operate here. They don’t care for their customers time or how...

I LOVE chefpats ordered several times from state rd 7 location but on 1/29/2020 they messed up my order I spoke to the manager shaneka about it and she was cordial for the most part but did nothing to fix the problem other than call me a liar so I let it go postmates took care of me but I advised her I would not be ordering from that location anymore I payed extra for snapper and got catfish I ordered wings and fries and got no fries so on 1/30/20 I ordered from the oakland park location and my order was just fine now I just ordered again on 1/31/20 from the oakland park location and they cancelled my order so I called and was advised by a young lady that my order was cancelled because the MANAGER shaneka came in this morning on 1/31/20 to the oakland park location apparently she is the manager at both locations and specifically said dont take my orders because I said I wont be ordering from them anymore REALLY..I said no that didnt apply to this location she said well they were just informed (2days later mind you) to cancel my order but since I called and they no its me they will go ahead and make the order LMBO ofcourse I dont want it now..now im no genius but that makes no sense at all its 2 different locations and different locations cook and serve different ways a person may like hooks or snappers at one location and may not like it in another does the manger go to all locations and inform them not to take orders from a certain person IDK just seems...

Devastatingly Unimpressed!!! If you enjoy receiving customer service, especially as a PAYING CUSTOMER - don't waste your time going here. First of all, this was my first time patronizing this establishment. I ordered a salad with Romaine lettuce, they gave me Iceberg. Further, the lemonade I ordered was mistakenly not given to me (I also forgot to request it when I picked up my order). I called the location to advise them that I forgot the lemonade; the rude gyal hollered at me stating that I should return to the store to pick it up. I advised that I was a significant distance away and could not return. I also advised that the incorrect lettuce was added to my salad - she didn't acknowledge that. As a professional who works with the general public, I would have went above and beyond to correct the mistakes by offering to credit the lemonade and applying a discount for the incorrect lettuce during the next visit to the location. But, no...the illinformed, uneducated representative resorted to a loud banter. Unfortunately, I had to throw out the salad because I can't consume Iceberg lettuce - so, a whole $13 down the trash. Needless to say, that I will NEVER return to this place.
