Hook Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Lauderdale Lakes

Regardless of personal biased feeling of your customers, customer service plays an important role in an organization's ability to generate income and revenue.Every other Friday night I usually order three dinners from Hooks. My husband picks it up while my daughter and I play video games( our routine). So when he brought our dinner home I realized three Coleslaws were missing and I was charged an additional fee for buffalo shrimp which I did not receive. I called and spoke to the owner, he handled my complaint accordingly and apologized. He also assured me upon my return to his restaurant he will replace my food. Three days later my family and I went to Hooks and I placed an order(#2 combo). I told the cashier the order I placed on Friday was wrong and I spoke to the owner(provided his name)who said he will replace my previous order. She went and got the manager. He approached the counter and snatched the receipt out if my hand. Then proceeded to call the owner and confirm the replacement of my food. Calling the owner to replace $15.00 worth of food was ridiculous! Did he draw the conclusion I was lying? The manager did not acknowledge me. His attitude was extremely disrespectful. Why I wonder? Was it because my husband was a man of color? Due to poor customer service and the way people of color are treated I will not be returning to Hooks. I gave the restaurant two stars because of the food but there are many other restaurant that serve fried foods and have better customer service regardless of there...

Every week I order 10 boxes of 10 piece wings for my office here in Coral Springs. Every week I send someone to drive all the way to Lauderdale Lakes because I love how this particular location fries the wings. Every single week he person who goes tells me how rude the young lady is inside the store. She has never been rude to any of my employees, but several of them have reported how distasteful she is to other customers. Each time my employees come back they say "Oh I got to finally see the girl you guys were talking about with the filthy mouth."

Well, last week Friday I got to see firsthand what it's like to see her in action. Unfortunately, I was with a few of my business partners who I bragged about this specific location to. One of these partners own 2 Wing Stops here in Broward, and was considering opening another franchise or investing in a current Hooks location.

That all changed once we walked in and heard "F!@@ all dat. If you don't like the food then don't come back!" Instantly, I was ashamed as this is my "go to" spot. However, I quickly realized this was definitely my fault. Week after week my employees laughed about the loud mouth young lady taking orders in the front and I laughed it off. I guess I never expected to experience it for myself, much less with potential investors standing next to me. I hope they can fix that issue before they lose anymore money. I will still go back as the food is good. But i wont be sending anyone looking to create additional revenue with...

I was driving down full 41 near Oakland Park Boulevard it was about 2:30 in the morning and I looked over at this place that was all lit up and the drive-thru must have had 10 cars in it I thought to myself damn there's a lot of people in that drive-thru that place must be good about an hour later I'm driving back I see the place again drive-thru packed again that drive-thru stays packed everything you order is cooked to order you want to talk about a hole in the wall a secret place that does not allow people to know about only the people in the neighborhood know about chicken and fish and everything that entails I went in there got fried tilapia and french fries and they seasoned it I think it was lemon pepper seasoning talk about good OMG I would literally drive from Margate all the way there just to get that food and come back on the way home with that food I couldn't help but digging it as I'm driving burning my fingers cuz it just came out of the fryer I didn't care it was that good it should never been there you need to go not the greatest neighborhood but them folks know how to eat and that place was open late I highly recommend you go there and try it I'm a customer now I don't go there all the time but...
