Finally a good vegetarian Indian restaurant that we can go to. We are delighted to have this Restaurant. Restaurant requires ambiance and this provides a decent one. I find the place very clean, well spaced out for the pandemic and staff wear masks at all times. It is important to me that dishes are clean including cutlery and they passed that mark :). There is a TV belting out regional language music videos from YouTube collection, Service is fast and efficient.
Now the food part! We ordered Medhu Vada, Paneer Bujjia and Idly as appetizers and Poori with sagu and Malai Kofta with Paratha as a main dish.
Medhu vada was good, crisp but a bit dense. Vada should be crisp, lite and fluffy. However the Vada was nice, hot and crispy. Goes easy with Sambar and chutney. Sambar and chutney were really good. Idly is simple dish, nothing great about it., it is a usual staple food of South.
Paneer Bujjia was excellent. It was cooked perfect, accompanied with Green chutney which was finger licking good.
Poori was so fluffy, it almost looked like a balloon. Excellent job on the poori and the Sagoo. It was very tasty and recommended.
Malai Kofta was so good. Nice gravy with right amount of cream and spices. Especially the kofta balls were so good, cooked perfect, hit all the notes in my pallet. Highly recommended dish in my opinion. Paratha is ok, nothing to rave about.
Kulfi dessert was nice, of course sugar and cream will make anybody happy.
In summary, great place to go, prices are nominal, fast and friendly service, Clean. I give 4...

If you were to land at Orlando, Florida and you have your parents along with you,. then this place will be the best to stop by have food and same thing while you are departing from Orlando, Florida,. simply great. Well maintained and hygiene eatery tables and utensils,..
Great Vegetarian place,...
Proper Mangalore/Udupi/Mysore/Bangalore overall Karnataka state style food,. I have been in US for almost 4 years and I have seen my own friends speaking about several places like Andhra style restaurant, Madras style restaurant across US at SFO, Connecticut, Dallas, Chicago, New Jersey and etc nothing stands up to run a restaurant like this one,.
I strongly believe that for running successful restaurant you need a passionate person to run and manage same as if he's going to have his family eat everyday there,..
Hand made masala, properly seasoned dosa batter,. super soft idles,. proper complimenting sambar (not the one that we find the ones with drumsticks and all vegetables sambar that other restaurants serve, in Woodlands you get proper Dosa sambar and fresh tender coconut green Chutney)
this place rocks,..
Feedback: Restaurant should manage to have more tables and effectively manage crowd,..
trust me a lot of people turn up here as food is good,..
My word to any future visitor here: Please call the restaurant...

We were really looking forward to Woodland Express in Fort Lauderdale. I hadn’t been back to the city in over 10 years, and my family and I were excited to revisit this place for dosas and vadas. But honestly, don’t let the word “Express” in the name fool you.
We got there early, right around when they opened at 11:35 am, and were the first customers. We ordered dosas and vadas and asked if they could bring it out quickly since we had a flight to catch. The vadas came out after about 10-12 minutes, but then we waited…and waited. After 35 minutes, there was still no dosa. We asked the server a few times, but each time it was “just 5 more minutes.” It became clear that they were prioritizing online orders over customers in the restaurant.
In the end, we had to cancel the dosas and leave without eating, which was such a disappointment. Woodland Express turned a nostalgic visit into a frustrating experience. It’s a shame they’re letting service like this take away from what used to be a great place.
Thank you for your response. Review is based on taking 35 mins and still not able to serve dosas. It may be lack of our experience in visiting an empty restaurant that take 30 mins to serve masala dosa. ...
