So I’ve been to many restaurants, especially Korean and this one is not bad. I will add this to my list of spots to check out but it could be better. For starters, they only have plain flavored Soju which was sad. Plain Soju is good but flavored is so much better. They do have hite beer on the upside. I really loved the presentation of the food. It’s buffet style and to sum it up, you select the protein that you want to eat and then they bring it out to your table in large portions. The best tasting was the pork belly. It was like bacon before it gets crunchy. Before the protein comes out, they will provide a variety of side dishes which are also buffet style. You can have as much as you can handle. If anyone is on a Keto diet, this place would be like heaven. The remainder of the menu are a la cart items. I em got the chicken wings and they have a very sweet sticky sauce. Call me crazy but I tend to take the wings and dip them in eel sauce, UH-MAZING. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good for a good price. Another thing, if you are taller than six foot, I don’t recommend the booth seating as it is kinda tight.

We walked in on a Sunday a little closer to 8pm. Waited 5min for a table for 3. The service was pleasant and fairly quick - noticed there was 1 server doubling as buser and 1 food runner on floor. The prices are fair. The portions are decent. We wanted to try the Kalbi rib option, but they were out. We went with the basic all you can eat BBQ option minus the marinated chicken - we tried the pork belly, spicy pork and bulgogi beef. All 3 meats were good - the spicy pork was a bit salty. The bulgogi had a sweet flavor, and the pork belly was delicious. BE AWARE : They don't have overhead vents, so you don't actually cook the meat yourself, it comes out cooked. A plus in my book because I love Korean BBQ but dread cooking it. This was a win win for me! The unlimited banchan was fantastic. My favorite was the kimchi, fish cakes, spicy cucumbers, potato salad, and the onions. Didn't care for the salad or black beans. The miso soup was good too, very different with a slight spice. The white rice was hot, soft and pillows very good companion for the meat and soup. Would come back and would recommend a visit!

We loved this place.... My boyfriend , friend, and myself were regulars. Recently every time we've gone we've gotten very sick right after we got home so we stopped going for a while.... Finally it's been about a month and we decided to go back and try it again cause the food is good. Always on the weekend it's packed and we know better than to go on a weekend because to get the food takes forever or their out of a lot of the buffet, this time was the last time for us... I found a small bug in my onions that I've already eaten some of (and me being a country girl) I decided ehhh I'll survive... But later as we continued to try and eat a ROACH crawled right across my foot, and when there's one there's many more. I hope they can clean the place up and survive... But unfortunately we won't be back. (I took video but apparently can't post videos on here... So here's screen shots from the video)

This rating is based mostly on service. We arrived, a party of four, and were promptly seated but we were not offered menus. A few minutes later a server arrives, still no menus, to tell us that if we chose to stay we would have to wait at least 40 minutes for food as the kitchen was backed up. We were given a minute to decide and instructed to press a button on the table when we were ready. We decide to stay and asked for menus. We decided on the AYCE option as it provided a variety of food, including various meats, soup and salad. We order our food and drink, expecting to have to wait. Not long after we received salad and other fixins such as kimchee and marinated onions. After having received the salad we inquired about the soup and were told it would take a few minutes. Twenty or so minutes pass and still no soup. I decide that maybe I would like a glass of wine, we press the button to call our server, Anna when she arrives she explains the wine. She made it sound like concentrated juice and made faces as though she were disgusted by the wines. I go for a beer instead and someone else in my party asked for a Coke. I get my beer but no Coke. Also still no soup. We start getting the meat platters and had to ask again for the Coke and the soup.

I must say the food was delicious. I do intend on giving this place another chance but I was very surprised at the service. The last time we try asking about the soup we ate told that they would have to make a new batch just for us (I'd like to point out it was not close to closing time at all) if we really wanted it they could make it. Other tables received soup. Other tables Honestly received multiple platters from the AYCE special.

Honestly, I felt like since the moment we walked in no one wanted us there. It was very unwelcoming, and asking for anything seemed like a nuisance to the serving staff. As I mentioned before I do intend on trying this restaurant again but they should think about hiring welcoming staff who don't wince at the thought of their dishes...

It’s my first time here and there 1 thing I like is there food taste. However there 3 things that I really hope they can improve, otherwise it’s very disappointing:

They only have 1 cook, so the cook time was really slow. ( but this can be understood and wait)

I ordered 1 BBQ (all you can eat) with miso soup for my husband; 1 stone bimbap rice, and dumplings for myself. They brought it out in the order of: bimbap rice, dumplings, after 30min’ is miso soup and BBQ. Yes, Lastly is BBQ. What make me frustrated is they didn’t tell us first that we can’t to go the BBQ which was brought out lastly after we almost full with 3 dishes.it was come out lastly, and 1 portion for 2 people BBQ, and surly we can’t finish it. I only able to eat 3 pieces and thought maybe we can to-go it for my husband when he go to work tomorrow. Not until we ask to pay that we now was told we can’t to-go it! “We paid 48$, eat 3 teaspoons, and can’t take it home!” Yes, now I know it was for 2 people when we only ordered 1 BBQ. 2 dishes of BBQ was took back after 10 minutes they brought out, and we can only look 2 portions of BBQ go to garbage cans right before our eyes 👀 . I was gonna call Magnager but my husband was too kind so he stop me.

They don’t wait till I tell them all my concern and already left. I felt like I was put in a game that I don’t like and inexperienced.

Overall, I don’t recommend this place if you don’t have a big appetite, and if you want BBQ and others food, “ask them to bring out the BBQ fist before anything else.” If not it’s really wasted. Plus they charge “$10 for leftovers.” However, when you bring big family and they got good appetite, then it’s a good choice.

No matter what, I hope they can be clear about their services before they let us order anything. I hate to be fooled around and forced to waste food. Hopefully they can be more thoughtful in their service. I would hate it too if anyone didn’t finish the food I took time to make, but this time really not us, your...

Not sure about this place anymore. My wife and I have been to Rok 3 times, once a year basically. The 1st time was awesome, no complaints! We always order the all you can eat $22 option. The food was excellent and the staff very kind and attentive. 2nd time was the same, yet our 2 favorite appetizers were not available, the waitress said the menu was going through some changes, ok fare enough. Tonight was the 3rd time, menu was the same, the appetizers were unavailable again, and this time the waitress said its because the 'guy' hasn't been by to make them, and 'he' has been spending more time on their new location. There was an ant crawling around my plate, no bug deal to me(get it? lol) but others would make a deal of it. Our food...well half of it, came out within acceptable time on a busy Saturday night. I say half because with the all you can eat first the salad with all the other plates are brought to the table, then within minutes and 4 types of meat are brought out. Well we finished the salad(which is amazing, I want the dressing recipe!), and then we waited about 15 minutes for the meats to come out. Maybe it was just one of those nights. And I did notice it was getting really busy and there were only 2 waitresses. We will not cross this restaurant off our list, but it has definitely caused us to look for a different Korean bbq place, especially a place with some updated atmosphere. Rok has a sorta old look inside, needs to be updated. The food is always amazing and the staff has always been...
