I called just before 5:00 on Christmas eve. I asked if I could order now but for a 6:30 pick up. I explained I was going to church services and wanted to pick the order up later. I clearly asked if that would be an issue and was told no. When I finished the order the women said it would be ready in about 20 minutes so I repeated if it could be be for 6:30 and she said yes yes. I arrived at 6:35 and had to wait about 10 minutes to get to the cashier. The orders were sitting on a table..no heat on them. When I got to the front I asked if my order was sitting for 1 1/2 hours..they looked at me and said I could feel if warm enough. The women that took the order lied and said I just thought you asked if it would be ready by 6:30. A man said we have no way to time orders. I said I could have been told since I asked. While I was talking to him I could see a women grab my order and throw the sweet and sour back into the frying greese. I assume she warmed the diet chicken and veggies. They gave the reheated food back. I took it and graciously tipped and gave some chocolates our church had to hand people working on Christmas Eve. The health department should probably shut the place down! The food was not...
Read morepros: probably the cheapest chinese takeout in at least a 10 mile radius, portions for the two dishes i ordered were double what i expected, and food was ready quickly
cons: the flavor was lacking. not the worst food, but not what you typically get when you get american chinese takeout.
i don’t eat chinese food often (except homemade) because i get sick from the sodium and sugar content, but i had been craving it. i really just wanted a small veggie lo mein but other restaurants were charging almost $20. i had never been here so i decided to try it after seeing the price. i got my veggie lo mein and also a ho fun just to try it out. food was made quickly and fresh. i expected the small white and red paper container but i received those long rectangle black plastic containers with the clear lids. it was packed to the top. i wanted to take a bite in the car but it was too full and i thought i would drop some so i waited until i got home. the ho fun has way more flavor than the lo mein, but both were lacking something. it just didn’t satisfy that chinese takeout craving. i had maybe 5-10 bites of each and im stuffed and the containers are still full. and i...
Read moreWas a little skeptical based on the previous reviews but thankfully I tried my luck and food was delicious! I called ahead of time and ordered sesame chicken, pint of pork fried rice, white rice and 5 piece fried chicken wings. The sesame chicken's portion was great, it tasted sweet and fresh. The pork fried rice had that NY-chinese restaurant flavor, it brought back memories. The white rice was good as well. The fried chicken had the perfect crispness and flavor. This place is a must try. When you get there their restaurant follows social distancing guidelines and only allow about 2 people inside which it would be beneficial to call ahead and you can be in and out right away. They have a huge plexi-glass over their counter that covers the register and the kitchen completely. To pay they have a super tiny space for you to hand over your method of payment. I called, they said food was going to be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived at exactly the 10 minute mark and my food was already ready and well packaged...
