STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! This place is a sorry excuse for a Japanese restaurant!!! I cannot express how horribly we were treated here today. My brother had just came in from out of town and figured we go eat here for dinner since it is the only hibachi Japanese restaurant in town. Upon arrival, we were seated at a grill that had 2 grills and seating back to back. A family had already been seated there in front of the grill and We were seated literally behind the chef. The lady then said they were only going to turn on the 1 grill and we had no choice but to view the "show" looking at the chef's behind. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! The lady turned out to be the owner whose name is "Linda". We told her that this wasn't fair and that she could not be serious. She then proceeded to talk to my brother and I like dirt; like we were some low lifes and like she was doing us a favor demanding us to either sit there or get out. As in giving us an ultimatum. This whole time she was speaking to us in a Disparaging tone like we didn't have any worth. There was also a waitress named "Makayla" that stated to me "other people before y'all were seated here and they didn't complain". Well did it ever occur to you that just because they didn't complain doesn't mean it is right. While we were walking out of the restaurant, she began to tease us acting like a 5 year old school girl; waving at us and "shooing" us away and yelling in the middle of her own restaurant.
My brother and I own a hospitality company. We own and operate businesses from Mississippi to Alabama. I can tell you that the owner, Linda, and her staff needs some SERIOUS training in customer service, hostess training, and just general interpersonal skills of how to be an owner. Never will I be returning here. I used to go when the old owner, Amy, was there but this owner is horrible! Again. STAY AWAY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTHEY PAID OUR BILL!!! Wonderful place! My boyfriend and I were seated at once and ordered our food. We didn't have to wait for very long at all. It was VERY good! Our server was AMAZING and went ABOVE and BEYOND for us! She was very polite and attentive. Well we were about half way through eating when my boyfriend realized... He didn't have his card in his wallet!š± We'd gone grocery shopping earlier that day. Then we'd gone home to get ready for date night. We still haven't found it! So he reported it lost when we got home. But at the restaurant we asked if he could go look for it if I stayed at the table and she said that that was fine. So he left his food at the table and went to go look in the car. It wasn't there! So he went back home to look for it. I waited at the table for over 30 minutes before he came back empty handed. While he'd been gone our server had taken the time to sit with me and have a very pleasant conversation with me. She WANTED to keep me company while I waited for my boyfriend. She and the other servers had said that, "It's happened to all of us at some point." And "Happens to even the best of us." When he came back empty handed... I was very worried. The bill was $49.00 dollars and I only had $30.00 on my PayPal card. Our server... She OFFERED to PAY the other part of our bill! I payed the $30 and she payed the rest FROM HER OWN POCKET! I got her contact information and what she doesn't know is that, that gesture of kindness meant A LOT to us! I'm going to pay her back 2Ć over for what she did! And you better bet I'll be PAYING IT FORWARD! If you go here for your meal... Ask for Maggie/Maggy....

I have a 1 year old & my fiance, his mother, and his grandma went here very recently. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant by the restrooms when there was closer seating available. Our server was not good at all. She brought grandma her hot tea in a styrofoam cup.. grandma and mom ordered hot & sour soup and calamari as an appetizer. We had no silverware when 1 bowl of what the waitress argued was hot & sour soup came... it turned out to be some sort of entree... it had chicken & rice in it... it was obviously a main dish.. The calamari was the sorriest appetizer I've ever received. Usually, this app is shareable. There were literally 5 pieces of very overcooked calamari. We sent it back. Finally, when the right soup did come out, she brought them out 1 at a time... like 15 minutes apart. We waited over an hour before we finally got our main dishes which we decided to take with us... We spoke to someone in mgmt, not sure if owner or not but they were not the least bit apologetic & were more concerned about $. They did end up comping half of our meal, but like I said not apologetic at all & that is why I will...
