L & J's Ice Cream & Pizza — Restaurant in Laurelville

Seen a lot of good reviews online about this little pizza place in laurelville so I decided to try it. ordered an extra large Pizza and an order of cheesy bread paid for it at the window total came to a little over $24. went through the drive-thru 20 minutes later to pick it up the girl that came to the window wanted me to pay for it again. and she said it was a little over $26 not sure how the price increased by over $2 in 20 minutes but I explained to her that I had already paid for it. got back to the cabin we were staying in opened it up looked very good until I tried to get it out of the box the crust was not done it was so soggy is stuck to the box. if I hadn't been 10 minutes away I would have just taken it back if the pizza had been done as good as the cheesy bread it probably wouldn't have been too bad overall very...

My husband and I tried this place out several years ago for the first time and we’ve made it a tradition to grab take-out on our annual Christmas cabin trip every year. This year the food seemed to be a little subpar to previous years. It was edible, but the fried mushrooms were mostly burnt and the subs that we got didn’t seem to have much cheese or really anything other than the meet. We ordered the Philly cheese steak subs that come with mushrooms, onion and peppers and I honestly don’t remember seeing the first mushroom, onion or pepper. Maybe it was just an off day, hopefully next year is better and as we remember. Man I try to be positive but this was not a pleasant experience by any stretch of the imagination.

It started with a very very long wait and went completely downhill from there.

I ordered a twist ice cream cone, was handed a bowl of sloppy, messy, unfrozen slop that I guess was ice cream with a waffle cone stuck on the top. The cone had no ice cream inside and was tossed unceremoniously into the trash the rest was consumed but in no manner was enjoyable.

There is no possible way that is even close to what I ordered and completely out of order.

IMHO if someone PAYS you for something and you cannot deliver that product in some manner then you should not be taking money from that individual.
