Arnold’s of Laurens — Restaurant in Laurens

Ok so where do I start... First impressions were that it was really hot in the dining room, which I can understand with an influx of people coming in from the festival in the square. 2 of the 3 waitresses clearly didn't care about their job. But one girl takes the cake for being super unprofessional and rude! A family came in and we served their drinks in open Styrofoam cups of which one was accidentally knocked over. The waitress didn't help at all and even had the nerve to tell the customer where the trash was so they could take care of it themselves! Never wiped the table, never helped, and barely even stepped aside enough so the customer could go clean it up. I must say the place is extremely clean. We visited later in day, and floors were clean, tables cleaned and ready for us to sit. However, I ordered the Smothered Chicken with mashed potatoes and slaw as my sides. My slaw came out well before my meal...I guess it was an appetizer??? When the meal came out it was the table's behind us...lol Round 2 dinner was served! Chicken was definitely on the tough side and my potatoes were not hot at all. When our waitress came back to check us out, she asked, and I explained. She was unaware we were new to Arnold's and the slaw does come out before your meal. Very apologetic and kind. Normally I wouldn’t give bad reviews especially this low of a rating. Ordered on line took an hour, finally after the time kept changing, it was decided we would pick it up. Get there customer service was horrible. Our food was getting cold on the counter and no one seemed to care that there was a person to pick it up. Once we got the food, now an hour and 15 mins after it was ordered mind you, our food is cold and stale. Nothing on the burger but the meat and bread.
