I was recently in Laurinburg late September / early October to visit friends and family while on vacation in the Carolinas . I was going to go to another place for a breakfast biscuit when I saw this place . I had never been to one and my friend told me they didn't know it was open yet , so it was cool to try the newest place . As soon as you walk in , there is a lady behind a window making fresh biscuits . How Southern is that ! The menu is extensive like a good Southern breakfast place should be .
I had a Country Fried Steak Biscuit and a Country Ham and Egg Biscuit with Apple Butter . The biscuits are really good , but I like the Country Fried Steak Biscuit at Hardee's a little better . The Apple Butter is good , but probably better with just a plain biscuit . It kind of takes away the saltiness of the Country Ham which I really like . I would have loved to try more of their menu , but I was only here for a couple days and traveling all over North and South Carolina . I live in Las Vegas , Nevada , but grew up in Bennettsville , SC about 17 miles from Laurinburg .
The place is very clean and the decor is very nice with a country theme . Lots of pictures of the different items to choose from . They have a 2 lane drive thru that was busy when I came in . I would definitely recommend and I know the locals will be coming here a lot for...
Read moreWe were in town visiting family and stopped here for breakfast. The service was outstanding! The lady that took our order offered suggestions, explained items, & repeated our order back to us to ensure accuracy. Whaaaaat? For the younger readers, she was doing her job. But it's been so long since we older folk have experienced this in the wild that it seems above & beyond. And let me say that she did all of this quickly, with a mask on & a positive attitude. Now for the food. I was born & raised in the South, so I don't usually expect great food in fast food chains. But this place has great breakfast food. The biscuits were not too thick, sliced, & buttered not only on the top, but also inside. My grits had salt, pepper, butter, & cheese and were cooked right. Eggs, light, fluffy & scrambled. The sausage was extremely good. I know they don't make it, but it was very good. This spot did not miss. I was told that they have been open about 1 year. So this still may be the breaking in period where everything is great until people get comfortable and start slackin'. I hope they keep striving for excellence beyond the honeymoon. If you're travelling to or through, stop in and get some food. You'll be...
Read moreEverybody was nice & friendly & the food was perfect... My only complaint is how long it took tho get our food after we ordered it at the drive-thru speaker! OMG! It was ridiculous, even IF they had to cook it for us after we ordered. We didn't order very much food at ALL, plus our order was basically breakfast biscuits & hash browns... From the time we ordered our food until the time they BROUGHT IT OUT TO US (after we waited in line & at the window FOREVERRR, then STILL was made to pull out of line to wait even LONGER for it to be brought out to My car) WAS A LIL OVER 30 MINS!!💯 THAT'S ½ AN HOUR SITTING IN A DRIVE-THRU LINE & PARKING LOT FOR JUST 4 BREAKFAST BISCUITS & 2 HASH BROWNS!! NO KIDDING OR EXAGGERATING THE TIME EITHER! I was really shocked, because that was My first time trying Biscuitville... My son loves it & it was his choice to go actually. He was even complaining & said it wasn't usually like THAT. In their defense, they were packed that day. But still, I've never waited in a drive-thru THAT long B4! 🙅🏽♀️ Not even@Myrtle Beach when I...
