Corner Burger — Restaurant in Lawndale

We were in search of a great burger and I found Corner Burger on Yelp. Corner Burger definitely satisfied our craving for a juicy, yummy burger. We ordered the Cowboy burger, cooked medium rare as requested. The burger was fresh and the patty looked as if it were half a pound. The bacon was crispy and the cheddar cheese was nicely melted over the patty. I made it a combo with fries and a drink. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. In addition to ketchup. I was offered one of their special sauces for my fries. I chose chipotle mayo and it was creamy and delicious too.

But what also made Corner Burger so special was a young lady named Eva. Corner Burger is a popular local spot so even in the mid afternoon, there was a line. But Eva. who was busy taking orders, getting payment, making specialty drinks. and delivering orders, would apologize and thank customers waiting in line. In addition, there was one lady who was busy preparing all the orders. She is an excellent cook as evident by the delicious food! Together, these two women are a wonderful team. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Corner Burger for the first time, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations! Located in the heart of Lawndale, this gem of a burger joint truly stands out. My friend and I opted for the #3 cheese burger with crispy bacon, fully loaded with all the fixings. From the very first bite, it was clear that these burgers were cooked to perfection, and they were served on a delightfully toasted bun that added an extra touch of deliciousness. I can't forget to mention the fries—they were simply outstanding! Just take a look at this picture; it captures the essence of a classic 50's diner experience!

We arrived early on a Saturday morning, around 11 am, and although parking can be a bit challenging, luck was on our side, as we found a spot just around the corner. Keep in mind that on weekdays, you might need to walk a few blocks to find parking.

After this fantastic experience, I am already planning to bring more friends along to enjoy these incredible burgers. Corner Burger, expect to see...

First of all, it's located at a hole in the wall spot across from the Lawndale center. I almost passed it Im glad I didn't. Walking in I was greeted by such a wonderful personality and happy employee. She asked if we'd dined there before and gave suggested her ultimé favorite, she stated all the burgers have the best ingredients and has difficultly herself choosing one on a daily basis.

I ended up with the breakfast burger, 2 eggs, bacon and a side of onion rings. My friends ordered the #3, cheeseburger with fries. The burgers are delicious and perfect sized. They offer 6 different condiments you can pick from and I choose chipotle mayo in my burger and a jalapeño ranch for my rings. My friend ordered garlic mayo. BOMB!!!
