At The Shop Hairstyles — Local services in Lawndale

DO NOT COME HERE! STAY AWAY! If I could give this "business" a ZERO STAR review, I would gladly do it. So i arrived here at around 5:20 PM or so, the owner Jose tried to get me to get a haircut by the elderly lady at the chair by the entrance. I told him that I was going to wait for one of the men that cut hair, either the guy next to him; or himself. He un-professionally told me "okay well I got 2 appointments, so there's 2 people ahead of you" and i told him that it was okay i'll wait. So i'm waiting and so I waited, and when the 2 people that were ahead of me were attened/helped. He took in another elderly customer that came in while I was waiting, I understand that he's elderly and he too needs a haircut. But if he was a walk-in then it should be first come, first serve. But no, I got skipped and there I go waiting again. He said that the guy next to him was going to take care of my haircut, but honestly at this point i'm impatient. Tired of waiting and after he finished the elderly man's haircut. He walked off and left, and at that point I was convinced that this "business owner" clearly is not about business and does not care about customer satisfaction or returning customers. I walked off and left, never ever going to back this bad place. Damian's Barber Shop next to him has better reviews than him. I'll probably give that place a try they're probably better. But seriously if you can avoid this...

Had to wait for a while then when I was suppose to be up denied my business when I didn't see anyone else I had to wait for and said I need a appointment but then he said this little old lady can give me a fade so when I told her I want a low fade she just replied..."I do fade."then she gave me a super high fade and made me look like Forest gump.I did not tip her went home and had to shave my head..I tryed to give them a second chance after wasting my money the last time then the same thing happened and I told him I don't want her to do my haircut she made me look like forest Gump last time so Jose said ok I cut your hair so I told him I want a low fade.then he started talking cool with me then he went up super high on purpose...charged me 20 dollars which I didn't pay way in the past I payed 15 dollars in the past so I didn't tip them once again and I will never go...

This was my first time visiting this shop. I entered and there was like 4 barbers one of the four barbers was busy with client. There was this female barber who was just sitting there said she was waiting for client with appointment. And there was this elderly lady falling asleep on her chair so i was not sure bout her lol. So anyways this barber at the end was not busy so he gave my son a haircut and he did a good job. This place is based more on appointments if they are not busy they will take walk-ins. It was just $18.00 for my sons...
