#1 Buffet — Restaurant in Lawndale

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The front desk service was a complete disaster. The older lady working there was rude, unhelpful, and clearly had no interest in their job. They acted like it was an inconvenience to even acknowledge us. When we asked simple questions, they rolled their eyes and gave short, snappy answers. Not the kind of welcome you expect when you're about to pay for a meal.

As if the horrible service wasn't bad enough, the food was just as disappointing. We paid for our meal but didn't like the ambiance, so we decided to pack our food to go. We were given to-go plates and started packing when a lady approached us, demanding that we pay for the to-go plates as if we had taken them from behind there front desk! They essentially wanted us to pay again. At this point, they were asking us to pay $46.50 for to-go plates that others had paid $17 for.

Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences l've ever had. Save your money and go somewhere--anywhere--else. #1 Buffet? More like the last place l'd...

$52 and some change for 2 PEOPLE!

if you go here make sure you're really going to eat A LOT, because my friend and i only had 2 plates each and only 1 drink each.

seems WAY overpriced.

not to mention they trick you by not telling you any of the prices when you first arrive, they just seat you.

the food seems like the don't cook it fresh, maybe they just throw it in the microwave.

they ask what drink you would like when you are seated, but there's no menu to know what drinks there are.

their 1st 2 stalls in the restroom are RIDICULOUSLY small.

you only get 1 set of utensils.

their water is gross.

and to top it off, i'm mostly sure that they don't actually care about the quality of anything in this building or the satisfaction of the customers, they're just cash hungry.

i would NEVER come to this buffet again.

Not worth the price. Maybe a good deal if it were closer to 15/person.

Lots of poor quality meats. Very rubbery steak and pork. Not a ton of options to begin with. Though I did find a few items that were at least decent. Service is okay. But drink refills will be slow. Especially during peak hours. Lots of damage on the building and the bathrooms. They have time limits and charges for wasted food. This wouldn't be an issue for me if the food quality were better. But it isn't.

There are other buffet options on the same road...
