Horrible customer service. We ordered online on Saturday night, 10-9, for curbside pickup. The total order, including an $8 tip, was $105.04. When we arrived at the restaurant we called, as the instructions online say. I stated that I was there to pickup a curbside order. The girl who answered the phone seemed as if I was bothering her. She told me to hold on after getting my name, the phone was not on hold but open air so you could hear everything being said. A girl came out and gave us our order, while you could hear everything in the restaurant. We pulled in a parking place so we could see if everything was in the bag. We we missing 2 banana puddings that we ordered. I called back, same girl as before answered phone, told her items were missing, said we don't have that and won't have till tomorrow (Sunday morning). I told her I would like a refund. She told me to hold on. A gentleman came on the phone and he to told me they would have it Sunday morning. Told him, no thank you, I would like my refund to the card I paid with. He said ok, then the girl came back on the line. Asked her when the refund would go thru, with a laugh from her saying I don't know, then she asked the man who said 20 minutes. We left the parking lot for the drive home. Received a phone call from the gentleman who said the refund came up as cash, don't know how that would be possible, if your doing it on a credit card machine, and I should come back and get my money. Told him no, I want on my card since that is how I paid. He gave me some told of $85.05, saying that would be my new total. Well the sale posted Sunday for the full $105.04. He did call back again Saturday night, while we were eating and I did not answer. I was over dealing with it for the night. Hopefully they call me or get in touch with me a refund my money. While the food was decent, we will never order again. Upon opening our boxes, found that the hush puppies and extra cornbread we ordered were also missing.

This was my husband's and I first visit. Walking in there was no one at the desk to greet us. We didn't know whether it was self seating or if we would be seated by a host. After standing and waiting for 5 minutes a staff member greeted us. She asked if we would be taking out or dining in. We decided to dine-in. The noise level was loud, there was a party of 10-12 people celebrating a birthday. After being seated for 10 minutes our waitress (short lady with ponytail) finally came to take our drink order. And after waiting another 10 minutes she returned with our drinks (water with lemon) and proceeded to take our entree order. While waiting for our entrees we noticed another waitress (tall lady with head wrap) eating at the bar/counter while also attending to customers. Staff should never eat where they can be seen by customers. Our food arrived hot and ready. I had the Jumbo Fried Shirmp with Mac & Cheese and Candied Sweet Potatoes and my husband had Fried Catfish with the same sides as I. Overall the food was delicious minus the mac & cheese, it wasn't to my liking. The owner came out to ask how our food was, he was very pleasant. While packing up to leave, 2 older women came a half hour before closing and were also poorly greeted by the tall waitress. They asked to be seated and the waitress responded you can sit anywhere. She asked them whether they were dining-in or taking out. They replied dining-in, she said you know we close in 30 minutes. So the ladies said they'll take out. She then proceeded to ask if they had an idea on what they wanted to eat without ever giving them a menu. This type of emloyee had no business being out in the dining area waiting on customers, she's clearly not a people person. Overall the food was great but poor staff can ruin...

I'm not here to complain as I know it takes a lot of hard work to own and operate a business here in South Jersey. My experience today was not very pleasant. From the lack of customer service to the incomplete menu. The waitress didn't know what food was available nor what the cost were. She went to the back to get someone who could help assist.

The older short gentlemen came out from the back to the front and was a bit unprofessional when I inquired about the menu and the lack of description / prices for the food items. I still decided to patronize the restaurant and give it a honest chance. I must say that there was an Older Lady there that was very kind and greeted me once I entered and asked if I required anything while waiting for my order. I would like to add that the restaurant appeared to be clean which is why I stayed.

I ordered the Beef Half Slab Ribs no sides due to the uncertainty of the availability. I was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes which did arrive on time. I paid for my order thanked the staff and left.

Once I reached my destination five minutes away it was time to try the food. Well there were 4 bones in the order, the ribs were very fatty and little traces of meat, the ribs were drenched with barbeque sauce, and the ribs were tuff.

I'm not bashing the restaurant however I don't think I can support the business in the future. Please don't let my review sway you either way please try for yourself. This may have just been not a good day all restaurants are not perfect all the time. However, it's important to treat guests with kindness and with the proper decorum.
