This is by far the worst chipotle on the face of the earth. My coworker and I stopped here for lunch to get a few bowls for other coworkers back at the office. Arguably one of the worst decisions I have made was choosing this chipotle. I ordered No Beans on my bowl, and the other two bowls had beans on them. Everything appeared correct until they put the toppings on the bowl with no beans over a base of a bowl with beans. As the worker repeated the order to the cashier, everything was correct. Not until I arrive back at work and open my bowl, only to be greeted by black beans. I have gastrointestinal issues that prevent me from eating black beans. I drive 15 minutes back to the chipotle and politely inform the worker that there appears to have been a mix up and that I would like my bowl remade. The worker said that she remembered me, but would have to have me pay for another bowl. They also mentioned that they needed to "see the bowl" -- Even though they remembered me from 30 minutes ago. I informed them that I threw the bowl out at my office because it was incorrect. This became a whole customer service dispute with the "manager". They initially again informed me they cannot remake the bowl without charging me, which I countered that I can happily show them the charge to my card (which was over $50 for 3 people). Then, after clarifying that it was not myself who made a mistake when ordering the bowl, but rather the worker mixed the wrong base with the wrong toppings - they tried defending the worker claiming he was "new" and that I should show grace. I simply said that I understand that he is new, and am not upset about the mistake - but rather upset over being gaslit about what I ordered. I told them that I will not pay for their employees mistake. I understand completely that mistakes happen and have no issue driving back to correct the mistake. But trying to argue with me about the legitimacy of my order and gaslighting me to think that I made a mistake is outrageous. I frequent this chipotle 3+ times per week and have never been treated like this before. After some attitude and more explanation later, they finally agreed that they would remake my bowl. But then, was told I would have to wait 10-15 minutes because they had no chicken. Nothing I love more than wasting my lunch period! All for terrible service, less than filling portions, and...
Read moreThis location needs new management. After shopping all day, I didn't have the energy to go up the road to the Trader Joe's location. Even though all my past experiences have been bad, I was hoping feedback from the already low rating, would lead to improvements. So, I get in line with no more than 4 people. It took 20 minutes to order. I counted at least 6 staff but only one person was filling walk-in orders. The line grew to about 30 during that time and no one came to help her. I asked for a quesadilla but was informed that only online orders could have quesadillas. There was also a line for online orders and 0 finished orders on the shelf. So people who ordered ahead also had to wait. Mind you, this was at 6pm. It's not like they didn't know a dinner rush was coming. This is the 3rd time I've visited this location and the staff showed no sense of urgency im filling customer orders. The last time I went, I was the only person in line, 25 minutes before close. None of the staff helped me for 10 minutes until the guy who was cleaning one of the stove tops winked at me, said he would be right over, kept cleaning and then finally washed his hands, put on gloves and took my order. I'm so confused. Lastly, there was an associate with braids down to her ankles. In a food service setting, they should have been in a hair net or tied up. Stuffed in her shirt, if they're too heavy to tie up. She was just wandering through the kitchen committing I don't know how many health code violations. Please send corporate. This location is too convenient/lucrative for them to...
Read moreWaited outside for 45 minutes. This locations hours state that they open at 10:45, we arrived at 11 and upon opening the door realized it was locked. We noticed there were workers inside the building eating their food and I had no problem waiting an additional 5-10 minutes. After that time passed another gentleman who placed an online order at 11 went to try and pick up his order only to be met with the same locked door. Another 10 minutes goes by and workers are inside still eating as more customers try to enter the store. The gentleman parked next to us then informed us that he had been here since 10:45 and was told to wait 10 more minutes. At this point it was 11:20, a worker then came outside walked passed everyone without saying a word and then continued to re-enter the store. This is when customers asked the worker what was the delay only for him to respond “we’re backed up” and to wait an additional 10-15 minutes.
With that being said, I 100% understand getting backed up especially with how COVID has effected businesses/restaurants. My problem is how the situation was handled. At NO POINT did any of the workers simply come to the door and communicate that there was an extreme delay. Had they communicated this by verbally saying something or literally just putting a sign on the door that stated they would be opening later I would have no problem. It’s ridiculous that they acted as if everyone was invisible or like we were there at a time when there hours clearly specified they weren’t open. Just overall trash & complete...
