The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

I loved getting Heavenly Ham for lunch 20 years ago. For about $8, I received a whole boxed lunch, complete with sandwich, cookie, chips, and a Snapple. I was shopping at REI in the same plaza, so I decided to see if it tasted just as good as I remember. I was surprised to see that there is nowhere to sit inside, so I was forced to eat it in my car. I ordered the ham salad on an onion roll. I didn't get the boxed lunch because it was more food than I needed. The bread was not fresh; it was the same texture I have experienced when someone freezes and thaws the bread. Because the roll was so hard, the ham salad squished out the sides with every bite. The sandwich was small for over $9. The silver lining was that the ham salad itself tasted good. There are a lot of bread options, so it might help to ask which ones are fresh...

UNFRIENDLY MANAGEMENT/STAFF.

I've been to this location twice and in fairness, the classic sandwich is very good - - as it is in all Honeybaked locations.

But both times I go in, forget being greeted or smiled at - I'm fine without that. But they literally GLARE at me with a mean look - I almost feel like apologizing for walking in. Even when ordering and they made my sandwiches - they just glare at me.

HONEYBAKED HAM - I know these are individual franchised restaurants - I get it. But is there nothing you can do about franchisees who are not friendly - - BUT DO THEY HAVE TO BE MEAN?

As much as I like the food - I won't go to this Honeybaked anymore. My usual average lunch check is around $12-$14.00 - - but I'll go to another sandwich place because I'm tired of mean people at the...

This was my first time ever eating here and I walked away a happy customer. I was going to try the pizza place next door and decided to see what they sold here. I'm so glad I did! The staff was friendly and even offered to let me sample anything I wanted. I sampled the savory mayo and fell in love. I got a custom made sandwich, Smoked turkey, American cheese, bacon, savory mayo, lettuce & tomato on a ciabatta roll. It was amazing! I'm already planning on getting lunch from here sometime this week! Can't wait to go back! *Update.... I've been back 4 times since...
