We don't want to lie for you, Arby's. I've ordered and been asked to pull forward after paying. I said, "Why? There's no one behind me in the drive thru. I only ordered a single plain roast beef sandwich, slice it and put it on the bun." The cashier said something to the effect of: If I pull forward, it tells their system they completed my order in that time. I said that I'm not lying for you, give me my food when it is done and that will be the time I leave in your system. Sat there and waited at the window and no one ever pulled up behind me. Got my food from the window, it would have slowed their operation down to send an employee outside to car deliver my order and they would have had to go out in the summer heat. What a stupid policy to try to have your customers cheat your own system for/with you. Don't you know how long it takes to prepare your own food?
I no longer order fries because they are generally always over cooked or burnt. They seem to be refried repeatedly, it's hard to taste anything resembling a potato when they are crisp all the way through or soggy with grease. You could make more money from each customer if the food was prepared correctly.
Today I went there for a plain sandwich, assuming, perhaps naively, that roast beef on a bun is a safe fast food option. I get home and open up a wrong sandwich. I called and spoke with a guy and told him, he said swing by and we'll replace it. I asked if I needed to bring the wrong sandwich in and he said no, he asked for my name and said he'd look out for me. I immediately drive there and inform them of what happened in person. The "pull forward" employee asked if she could see the sandwich. I told her I was told I didn't need to bring it. She started to go remake it, then came back to ask what it was I ordered, after I'd explained on the phone and in person.
I'm guessing at some point the experience will be bad enough to stop relying on Arby's as a quick sandwich option. Likely sooner rather than later.
See attached photo of the beef n cheddar/wrong sandwich if you are still needing proof. I'm not trying to scam you out of a roast...
Read moreMy problem with Arbys is ordering with their App. It’s the absolute worst food App I have used for delivery. If you order delivery, it takes you to another website. You have to enter in all of your info: address, email, phone number - it won’t populate from your Arby’s sign in because you’re no longer in the Arby’s App. Then the biggest frustration is - you can’t use any of the Arby’s deals for delivery. You can only use the deals for pickup. And what’s really strange is if Arby’s has a special of free delivery - you can place those orders on the Arby’s App (but only those types of orders - not “normal” delivery orders). So, if they have the ability for you to place delivery orders on their App, why don’t they let you do so on All orders? All other food Apps we use will allow you to place delivery orders on their App AND also allow you to apply deals to delivery orders. We like Arby’s (we miss the 23rd St. location) but their process for ordering delivery is ridiculous! Come on, Arby’s - get your...
Read moreEven when their slow, or have no other customers they consistently take 15min minimum-25 min to get out an order. Even just a drink. Also you typically have to wait at the intercom at least 5-10+min before they even try to take your order. If there's someone in from of you? Expect to sit at that intercom until the person in front of you is served and driving away before they'll take your order. Its not just a every once in a while thing either its ALL. THE. TIME. Day and night. I only come to this location because my work is right next to it. But best believe ill start avoiding it like the plague from now on. After new renovations, service has gotten longer and considerably worse. I don't have high expectations, i just want fast food in under 25min while sitting at a drive through. Thats why it's...
