Lu's Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Lawrence

Our company decided to order all of our staff breakfast which included 6 different orders. We had sandwiches, parfait, fruit, pastry's and iced coffees. Everything was incredible! From calling the day before and receiving excellent customer assistance, to emailing with the owner and receiving amazing customer assistance and then finally picking up where our order was 100% ready to make the travel from Lawrence to woburn. They wrappped our coffee's lids not only with tape, but placed it in a plastic bag to ensure if it spilled (which it did once) it wouldn't make a mess. The flavors of everything and the freshness was simply incredible. Lu you have absolutely received a new business client and we are all looking forward to our next order. What a hidden gem of a cafe in downtown Lawrence! I've lived in here for six years and rarely venture across the bridge in the downtown area because it's not been the most welcome of areas. Nevertheless, the weather was beautiful today, the roads were quiet, and a trip to the highly rated Lu's, was in order...and it did not disappoint! The croissant was light and buttery, the boba peach tea was on point, the warm blueberry muffin was to die for, and the atmosphere was open and welcoming. Highly recommend a walk in to grab a bakery item, sandwich, or tea if you're in the area. Lu's is an awesome addition to the downtown Lawrence area and I'm totally feeling the cleanup projects, street art murals, and easy vibes that little eateries like Lu's are bringing...

Decor was very spacious and nice, I wouldn't mind chilling here chatting with a friend for a few hours. They have a lot of baked goods, sandwiches, and drinks on their menu. I only got the Viet coffee. It was ok, tasted a little burnt, kinda reminded me of the taste of corn.

Service was a little awkward. Not many people waiting for their orders, no line at all. One of the workers came up to the register to see who needs to order. She kept looking around even though it wasn't that busy. I kept looking at her waiting to put in my order. Maybe Sunday mornings aren't a good time to come.

I would try other things on their menu if I'm around the area again, but I wouldn't go out of my way from another city just...
