This was the third time for me to eat at Moriki Sushi but after the first experience, I knew we would be regulars! I lived in Japan for five years and I am always looking for the best sushi wherever we go. Celebrating my birthday in May at Moriki I knew I had found the place .Truly the BEST.
The service is exceptional, the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.
Tonight we tried the fried mushroom appetizer for the first time and it was out of this world yummy! I find myself craving their unusual lattice-like Gyoza. And after trying several different specialty rolls, I am now declaring my favorite the 0613! Spicy but not too much and the texture and presentation is so appealing. The shrimp and sweet potato tempura was phenomenal! Soooo good!
Lisa and Leo are wonderful hosts. I expect to see this oh so special authentic Japanese restaurant booming with business in no time. If you haven’t tried it, you must! You would be missing out...
Read moreMy evening at Moriki Sushi restaurant was phenomenal. A quiet atmosphere, clean and extremely pleasant. Our server was friendly, and welcoming. Truly going above and beyond.
Ordered two different rolls, the Dragon Roll, which consisted of crab sticks, avocado, and cucumber inside, topped with BBQ eel and avocado, dressed with eel sauce... As well as the Hot Night Roll which had, soy paper, spicy tuna and avocado inside, topped with tuna, dressed with spicy mayo. Both of which were exquisite! Melt in your mouth, flavor blast!
Ordered four pieces of Red Snapper Sashimi. Which was divine. So fresh.
Both plates came with a generous helping of ginger and wasabi. Plated beautifully as.
I also happened to snag a cup of their miso soup. Tofu, scallions, and seaweed in dashi stock mixing white miso paste.. It was absolutely spot-on.
I highly recommend this hidden treasure! I will be going back to try more of the mouth...
Read moreSo fresh tasting and flavorful! Started the meal with a salad that was a nice mix of crisp greens. The ginger dressing was delicious. Miso Soup was light and tasty with a nice amount of tofu and wakame. The Edemame was perfectly steamed and salted. Volcano Roll was beautifully presented and had a very nice amount of spicy heat. We also ordered Octopus Sashimi, a Sweet Potato Roll, and a Tropical Roll. All of the dishes were beautiful and delicious. Dinnerware reflected attention to detail from the lovely teapot and cup to the graceful plates and nicely weighted barware. Lovely, bright interior with beautiful tile and dark furniture. We were there on a Satuday at lunch. Service was very friendly, prompt and attentive. The chef checked with us during the meal to make certain that we were happy. We are very satisfied with our meal at this restaurant and hope they experience success...
