We visited the Douglas County Fairground for their 4th of July events, and it was fantastic! The live concert was so much fun—great music and a lively crowd. But the highlight had to be the drone show—it was absolutely mesmerizing and unlike anything we’ve seen before! There were plenty of food trucks with delicious options, and the indoor halls provided a nice break from the summer heat. Overall, it was a perfect mix of entertainment, food, and family-friendly fun. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Nice family fair, something for everyone. Had 4H competitions like farm animals, quilts, pies. Lots of food trucks, famous funnel cakes, fried liver, lemonade, hamburguers, bratwurst, kettle corn, ice cream, and more. Demolition cars show. Very organized fair.

SFTrail motorcycle club, antique and vintage motorcycle show. Every year on Superbowl Sunday. Plenty of bikes, parts to buy, food too eat.

Over all, a great space to rent out. Typically hosting the county fair and various charity events, this large lot with multiple sized buildings is a good start. However, the buildings are not at all constructed to keep out heat in the summer nor cold in the winter. Industrial fans will be needed to keep the event space cool enough to stand on the hottest days. Often people will cool off in their cars, then return to the event--a rather large downside for charity and personal events. Seems to fit science fairs and other "walk through" auctions/events where you aren't sitting still long. Some buildings have restrooms, that are well kept. Most buildings have water faucets,...

I attended an auction at the fair grounds. It was held in a nice, clean heated building. The concession stand had very reasonably priced food and beverages. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with all paper products you would need. Load out was very easy through an overhead door which made for convenient loading of...
