China Buffet — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg

Wow, I was really surprised at this place. I didn't read reviews I just had looked where it had a 4.1 stars... Ouch. Regretted that!!! So me and my son needed to eat and really needed something fast (sugar dropped) to where we didn't have to wait for it to be cooked.... MISTAKE! I have now learned Chinese is a NO-NO in Lawrenceburg... There was literally bubble wrap on the door handle walking in , the outside (and inside) needs some major repairs... It was shocking , I almost didn't walk in simply for the ran down look of the outside but I try to be open minded but never again .. the inside was kinda a disaster... The check out wasn't even where it was suppose to be , they had but a table up beside the Buffett and put the register on it .. kinda odd ... Very cluttery and disorganized... The food was the most of the issue ... I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE EVER EATEN CHINESE FOOD LIKE THIS .. We we're in and out and done within about 10 minutes no joke ... I'd NEVER recommend this place. It was just gross.... Nothing tasted right at all. Nothing looked right from the outside in. 33$ was the amount of my bill ... that's just robbery. . Lawrenceburg needs to...

Wanted to give this a 1.5 or a 1. I personally don't like Chinese restaurants. My kids do so we went. Rhe waitress set us in a terrible location as far away from thr food as you can get and in a tight booth with 4 people and a baby in a high chair. Terribly for everyone to get in and out of the booth type chair. She was very rude. Slamming drinks and mumbling under her breath. There was almost no one in the place when we got there so we could have been put somewhere different. In her defense we could have also asked to be moved. The food was terrible, I'd say as always, but that's what you get from a Chinese restaurant. Everything is bland and has no real flavor.

The atmosphere is always terrible. It feels like the place has not been properly cleaned in years, with tons of grim and filth piling up year over year and simply getting wiped down with the same old dirty rag.

A disappointment also at something like $17 a plate when you only eat one plate and don't have thr apatite to eat anything else. I guess the ice cream is always ok.

Not a fan, again, so harder review but I don't honestly see anything there to be positive about.

i have eaten here a few times over the years.. i mainly avoided coming because of the reviews about the food making people sick. well my family and i decided to try and come one night about a month ago, and my dad was very nervous about it because of the reviews. and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, there were multiple piles of vomit on the ground. so we turned around and went somewhere else. fast forward to yesterday. my boyfriend and i decided to give it a try because we didn’t wanna drive to pulaski. the food was great don’t get me wrong, but a few hours after eating there, i began to have extreme stomach pains. which was then followed by vomiting and not being able to leave the toilet. all i had eaten yesterday was the food from the buffet. ( i’m in a calorie deficit is why that’s all i ate) it’s now 10:00 at night over 24 hours since i ate there and im constantly throwing up or in the restroom. probably won’t be back now.. listen to the reviews if they say don’t...
