Father's Day. It was my first time here. Party of 9. We were first in line but they opened another door first so we ended up being about 4th. The opening crowd packed the restaurant FYI there were that many guests. The welcome party at the door was great! Seemed like an all hands on deck moment. They had to put tables together that took ten or so minutes. This pushed us farther back in the queue. The waitress Hally was fantastic prompt and professional. Drinks right away, appetizers on the table in a great time, entrees ordered, and all seems great. Rooms are decorated lovely with hardwood furniture, TV's, and memorabilia around. Then the bawg down. It took almost an hour from ordering until the plates were on the table. That might be par with as many guests as they had because every seat was full, so take that into account. We got there at 1030 to be first at 11 we got plates at 1220ish so you decide. I ordered a blackened salmon caesar with no croutons and this is what my plate looked like. Others at my table said their hamburger steak was burnt on the tops and the sliders one said it doesn't look good, and had a hard dark brown ball she had to ask what it was (cheese ball) she cut it in half and that's as far as that went. All in all if for $350 the food was not good at all. Literally the bread and lemonade was the best part of my meal. The menu has great items but execution lacked significantly. Fancy restaurant with no prices on the steak menu but short order cook quality.

The services was not great at all. We went for my son's 9th Birthday. We had a party of 10. We were charged a gratuity fee of 18%. I'm all for tipping appropriately but when I have to chase down my refill drinks, ask for silverware, and my food nor my bread comes out in a timely matter 18% is too high for tipping. We told the waiter it was my son's birthday and pointed him out. The waiter came back with ice cream and questioned who's birthday it was again. They didn't sing to him (which is their customary). The ice cream was placed in front of him with a mumbled happy birthday. We then had to ask for our check 3 separate times. Instead of the waiter taking out money, which once again is customary, we had to walk to the front register. Magically our waiter was able to then ring us up and allowed us to pay. We questioned the 18% fee. Then asked for a manager. After explaining the issues to the manager (who looked like another waiter), we were told that they could not remove the 18% fee. This made the tip 11.97. However he removed the cost of a 4.99 piece of cake. Which then brought the tip down to 11.07. I honestly feel that the waiter, not the restaurant should be docked for poor service. The restaurant had to eat 4.99 that day but the waiter not only profited his normal hourly wages but he profited 11.07 from us not including what our other party members were charged at an 18% rate.

The waiter we had was great. He was cordial and professional. He was also attentive and friendly. Parking was easy with a nice sized lot. We ordered the filet mignon, which was at “market price” that turned out to be $45/filet. We thought that was reasonable for a steakhouse. Our steak was ordered Med Rare and came out Rare. I’m not big on bloody meat and this was deep red throughout. So they missed the mark on preparation. It was also quite salty. The flavor was excellent though. My wife had fried okra along with her filet mignon. I’ve never had tougher, more stringy okra before. The strands get caught in your teeth. Not sure what happened here with the okra but it was tough and very stringy. We both had the loaded baked potato which was fine. Overall a decent dining experience but oh my goodness steer clear of the fried okra, it was horrible. Go with the asparagus or a salad instead. We skipped dessert and drinks option for a club soda instead.

I haven't had bad food here ever, but the experience last has me never booking a party there ever again. Our company does a Christmas party every year. For the last 2 yrs we have used Strikers. Last year was good, we got to eat in the back room but had to share it with other patrons, which was ok, but we wanted the whole room to ourselves. So, this year we thought ahead, waaay ahead and I booked the room for $50 from 5-8...on a Saturday night. At 330 the afternoon of the event, I get a phone call...they cannot let us have that room for 3 hrs on a Saturday night...😳 I said, and you are just now calling to inform me of this??? I paid a deposit, she said oh, you paid a deposit, let me call you back. She called back with the solution of 5-630, we get the room all to ourselves for our games and dirty Santa. Then at 630 they can start seating people in there. I said ok, I'll compromise. So when I get there, the manager, I'm assuming, says IF y'all get through before 630 will you let me know? I said yes absolutely. Well, everyone gets there and our waitress Haley was wonderful. However, during the allotted time for our games this manager, kept coming in "checking" to see where we were in our fun time. Like 5 times in 1 hr. At 6:03, she came in again and asked Haley something. Then Haley asked us if we were about through, we were, so we agreed to move our stuff and let them start seating. There were a few other things I could note but trivial, oh and let me say, their way of saying I'm sorry for messing up your evening and making it super stressful, was 2 free appetizers. Something at least, but we won't be bothering you again for our company Christmas parties. If you make a promise you don't break it, and thats what taking my money and booking that room was. Im assuming management has shifted from what I gathered. Not impressed with her, but guys the food and drinks...

We came here because my grandma wanted to eat here for her birthday. We had a party of 8. Our server was great, BUT:

I ordered a Caesar salad and it never came. Everyone else got their food. My server explained they ran out of LETTUCE but said they were “going to the store for more so it should be ready soon”. 20 minutes later they bring me a grilled piece of lettuce and chicken breast, I kid you not! GRILLED LETTUCE. Who the hell would actually believe this is acceptable? I said this isn’t what I ordered, I absolutely do not want this. I sent it back and had decided I’ll just get something on the way home. They finally bring out the salad when my table was ready to leave. They did not charge us for the grilled lettuce dish, but they did charge me for my meal—a salad—which takes minutes to prepare, and I waited about 2 hours for. I was unaware they were “out of lettuce” until my whole table had received their meals. No manager came by to apologize. My server was great, no hate to her at all.

They also do not have a drink limit. Most family establishments (ie not an outright bar) will cap a customer on their alcoholic beverages. They don’t do that here. We had a lovely guest in our party (whom I had never met before this evening) had around 5 twisted teas and was completely LIT. 2-3 drinks max is standard policy for that alcoholic content.

I will never in my life patronize this...
